The other problem with Infiniscroll is that once a certain number of images have loaded onto the page, that page uses significant amounts of memory. This usually means that it reloads……right back to the top again. I can never access the images at the end of my feed.

The new layout for media is impossible! I have more than the average number of pictures and GIFs which used to load on separate pages. This way I could navigate to (roughly) where I knew images to be. Now all the media is on the same page that loads a few images at a time as you scroll. I timed it last night.....over 45 minutes to load all my images.....then my computer reloaded the page as it was “using significant memory”. This meant it all started again.....another 45 minutes to load. Please change it back! Please!!!

If I am in a chat room, I generally have a quick glance at most profiles. If I start to chat, then I take another look to see if they have a bio, a picture or anything else that informs me. Nothing beats actually chatting to find out what a person is like but I always like to have something to go on - some topic or fact to start a conversation rather than "Hi, how are you?"
As for accepting friendship, I check thoroughly - including a reverse image search (Tineye is my goto app) to see if the photos they claim are of themselves are actually genuine.
As an example of this, I recently checked the pictures of someone who claimed to be 19 but one of their photos appeared for the first time in 2010......so they were either a very well developed 9 year old when the photos were taken.....or they were lying. Not a good start to a friendship.
Don't get me wrong, if someone has a picture and they say "Its not me but looks like me" then thats fine....at least they are being honest. I fully understand the need for privacy and discretion - I don't have a picture of me on my profile. But telling downright lies and misrepresenting yourself is a red flag to me.

All of those looking for a sub.....or searching for a Master/Mistress for an online relationship, I have one piece of advice. Try and find someone who is no more than 2 or 3 hours difference in time. I have had quite a bit of experience in online relationships and I can tell you that you don't get to spend enough quality time with anyone who is 8 hours different! When you are available, they are either at work or asleep and vice versa. It gets VERY frustrating.
