The basis of attraction is a combination of mind and body, so one is not more important than the other. It can't all be the mind, you have to find some physical aspect attractive. Humans are shallow like that.

That being said, I think the attribute with the most longevity is the mind, no question. A good body and a pretty face will only last a few decades, but a good mind will always be a good mind.
A good thing that was avoided, though I wonder how well a boycott of him and everything he has done would actually work. The man invented javascript, too.
Hawaiian beef and rice. Old family recipe. Quick, very easy to make and totally delicious.
This is the kind of question that always results in interesting answers, regardless of which answer is chosen.
The title of this thread is a bit misleading. You can't "beat" depression, you can only manage it in a way that allows you to function as a normal human being.

As someone who has suffered from depression for most of his life. I can safely say that it is a day to day struggle. Certain activities such as exercise can help, but its only a temporary solution.
Its nice they are taking a stance. I find it difficult to support anyone that believes some people should have rights and others should not. Such anachronistic ways of thinking will hopefully die out in a few generations.

Oh and Dani, you get extra points for your sig. Nice to see other people remember Tiny Toons.
Like the topic says: Would you rather be liked, or respected?

I would like to preface this first: This does not necessarily apply to how you present yourself on Lush or in the Real World. We often have to make personal sacrifices for the sake of our professional lives which often contradicts our personal feelings.

Ultimately though, all things said and done, would you rather be liked by your peers, or respected by your peers? You can only pick one.
Greatly depends on the person. Some women can have multiple very easily and others have to build up to a single one. Seems to vary from person to person.
Well, how you perform anal sex depends greatly on the person. I've known several women who enjoyed it because of the pain. Of course this was after a couple times doing it slowly and with lots of lube. For these ladies, a moderate coating of saliva was sufficient lubrication for an evening of anal penetration. So the "slow and steady" approach does not work for everyone, but its definitely a wise idea for beginners.
I've been both, though being the broken-hearted one is more numerous. Both make me sick to my stomach.
Probably the only time it would be wise to wear a bra would be if you were sprinting. If you were extraordinarily blessed in the mammary department, you're risking a concussion.
I don't have pet peeves, I have major psychotic fucking hatreds. lol.

Probably impatient/careless drivers being at the top of the list. I could be here all night listing things that annoy me.
Given how the anatomy functions, both normally and during a certain time of the month, I imagine it would be far more practical for a woman to be trimmed or shaved in that area.
Its a pretty stiff competition, but the grand champion for me has to be Jennifer Lopez. She is such a smug, entitled primadonna, you would think she was born with a silver spoon up her ass. Remember the show In Living Color? Yeah, she was one of the dancers. You would think that someone who came from such humble beginnings would have some sense of humility.

tl;dr, J-lo sucks.
Blueberry. No contest. Only other one that comes close is strawberry/rhubarb.
Hell yes, more cushion for the pushin'!

Seriously though, combined with the right attitude, curvy and chubby girls are very attractive. But the same could be said of girls with any body type.

You obviously have no idea what passive-aggressive actually is.

i don't take well to the implication that ANYone here is above reproach. you either have a legitimate gripe, in which case, come out with it, or not, in which case, quite implying that there is an issue with someone on the staff here.

In my experience, message boards and websites tend to not have standards of accountability of wrongdoing when it comes to staff. Not saying that is the case here, but specifically saying that in rules stated can give that impression. This is beside the point though.

As for my own personal issues, forget it. It doesn't matter.
It harkens back to an old internet adage: Welcome to the internet, where men are men, women are men, and little kids are FBI agents. But, some of the men are actually women.

Not completely applicable anymore.

at the top of your page, the red bar, there is a "?" which opens up a menu when hit - use the contact us option to send your grievance in OR if it's an issue with the the story mod team you can always just PM me personally. talking to staff is usually more productive than just blogging or raging about an issue.

Indeed. The idea that anyone, regardless of status, is beyond reproach has never sat well with me. The rules as stated certainly seemed to imply that. I may have some grievances but nothing worth wasting my rage on. In most cases its cathartic, but in this instance its pointless.
So, you don't want to hear rage about the staff... but what if someone caused a legit grievance who happens to be staff? You can rage but not hurt feelings. Interesting. I wonder what Tyler would say about that.
