I just updated from 8.1 this morning and I am really pleased. It seems to have addressed a lot of the issues I had with both 8 and 8.1. It took me a while to find it, but I really like having the start menu back.

I agree on the hygiene, and while it might be the similar for both it is not quite the same. I am uncut and found that if you are not in the habit of retracting the foreskin from an early age it can become difficult later on. Biggest difference I have heard of from a guy who was circumcised as an adult is that being uncut makes masturbation much more comfortable.

Generally, my ratings are positive, a 3 or better. If an author can't live with that, they won't go far in the trade. Face it, if you can't get past the folks here, what will happen when a real professional editor reads one of your stories? I posted earlier about the level of grammar and spelling ability of some authors here, and while I love the content, the technical side is lacking at times. I never judge a story here on technical matters like spelling but an aspiring author should keep this in mind! Think about having someone proof those submissions, if you keep an open mind you will become a better author.

Seems most (not all) of the authors here don't bother proofing their stories or don't have them read. While I love all of you for the stories, a bit of clean up by someone with a bit of grammar and spelling might not hurt a few of the authors! Not harping, just a bit of constructive criticism to help those that need it improve.

I have a laptop (just purchased, a replacement) and a 4g phone and tablet. The Tablet is easier to use than the phone and not as hard to carry as the laptop. That said, the tablet does lack a media card slot and CD drive. Sorry, I can't do without either long term, but for a short trip the tab is fine. Really short trips the phone works. I also have access to a desktop, but my laptop for the most part is actually more capable than the desktop! ( it's just newer) That said, I should say I am NOT a gamer, so computing needs might be just a bit lighter than some!
