If you'd like to use a cover image for your stories, the photo must first be in the Image Gallery:
1. To get to the Image Gallery, (if on a PC) go to your profile picture at the top of the page and a drop-down menu will appear with the 'Settings' option. Hover over 'Settings' and you'll see Image Gallery.

2. Once in the Image Gallery settings, this is what it will look like. 1) Choose your file. 2) If you wish to hide the image from the gallery on your profile page, select 'Hide From Gallery'. 3) Select 'Upload Image'.

3. Once the photo is in your Image Gallery, go to your 'My Stories' list (accessible from the same drop-down menu as before).

4. This is what your 'My Stories' list looks like. Very comprehensive view of everything you've ever submitted. Select 'Edit' on the story you want to add your image to:

As for me, I'm a stickler about punctuation and spelling. It's hard for me to focus on the story with too many errors. But I do like when a writer finds intriguing ways to be unique, be it made-up words, funny dialogue, or unexpected plot points.
