Thanks to this forum, have learned how to create a banner. However, still struggling with how to make it part of the story presentation. Would appreciate some help (and I'm not super tech savvy).
You add it to the story when you submit it. If you have already had the story verified you can add the image and notify the story mod all you've changed is to add the image and they can confirm it.

Whatever was posted is always meant in love and respect never to offend.
I'm also highly likely to have posted this from a phone so there may be typos or odd word changes, auto correct can be a pain.

I've been listening to my kinky pencil here's my current work

Thank you, Skald. But, my dilemma is I don't know how to add it to the story. Do I just drop the image in the body of the text portion? make it part of the field for "title"...?
When you upload the story there's an option to add the image.
Don't add it to the title or the text, there's a button to add an image just like when sending an email in lush.

Hello Blake! I did send you a message regarding this, but I'll put some visuals up for any others having similar issues:

_______

If you'd like to use a cover image for your stories, the photo must first be in the Image Gallery:

1. To get to the Image Gallery, (if on a PC) go to your profile picture at the top of the page and a drop-down menu will appear with the 'Settings' option. Hover over 'Settings' and you'll see Image Gallery.

___

2. Once in the Image Gallery settings, this is what it will look like. 1) Choose your file. 2) If you wish to hide the image from the gallery on your profile page, select 'Hide From Gallery'. 3) Select 'Upload Image'.

___

3. Once the photo is in your Image Gallery, go to your 'My Stories' list (accessible from the same drop-down menu as before).

___

4. This is what your 'My Stories' list looks like. Very comprehensive view of everything you've ever submitted. Select 'Edit' on the story you want to add your image to:

___

5. Once in the story editor, you can select your image from the Gallery and voila! You're good to go. Some like to add their own title to their image, and if so, you can select 'Hide Title and Author From Cover Image'.

___

Now, if you want to use a variation of said photo as a forum signature banner, you can do that here smile

Save that in a text file for quick cut-n-paste yet? That's what I do with these frequently asked questions, so I can give a comprehensive answer in seconds. If you answer a lot of questions like this, you'll thank yourself later if you do smile

You usually have to update them a few times over the years, but as long as you have the base there, the necessary modifications don't take long, and they're ready to go the next time.
