Favorite Movies The Philadelphia Story, Blue Jasmine, Notes on a Scandal. Actually anything with Cate Blanchett. But seriously, I prefer good stories and well-written dialogue to movies where lots of people die and many things get blown up. It's not I'm against violence per se (some movies I like are very violent), it's just that the most of these new movies are cliched and dull.
Favorite TV Shows PBS. I love the Here Comes the Midwife and Last Tango in Halifax series. And Nova. I didn't much care for Downton Abbey, though.
Favorite Music Mostly enjoy the lady singers of pop and jazz: Nina Simone, Eva Cassidy, Ella, Joni Mitchell. But I really just simply like music of all kinds. I've been listening to a lot of Brazilian music lately and enjoying that.
