Guy #1: Yes, this is the one we want. When we say 'bad boy', we are talking about a guy with an 'edge'. Someone who isn't 'vanilla', someone who has a dynamic mind, thinks outside of the box, bit of a rebel, bit of a dark side, and someone who challenges us and keeps us on our toes. It's more about edgy psychology, less about being dangerous in actuality (or at least for me it is... I'm not into criminals). At the same time it's a fine line, because we don't want someone who is a jerk or treats us like shit either. There is a difference. The best bad boys know how to flirt well and have a bit of a twisted dark side, which makes the flirting (and the sex) more exciting.
Interesting. So what I understood was you like guys who are more like a menace to society but aren't actually criminals. Is that correct? Now I know there are other threads for personality and looks issues, but I'm directing this specifically at the "bad boy". You have already explained the "bad boy" personality, but is there also a "look" that you expect? Like can a guy be considered a "bad boy" if he meets all of your criteria or does he also have to "look" it. When you think of a "bad boy" are there any distinct physical attributes that come to mind, or is it more of a personality thing?
Guy #2: I'm assuming you're talking about 'gangster chic' here. And no, this isn't my thing (personally). The guys who look like criminals and are criminals are the ones that get busted as criminals. And you end up going down with them. Not cool.

Guy #3: is the definition of a psychopath (ie. Ted Bundy type). Also... not cool.
Not necessarily. He's just #2 who doesn't want to get caught. What I mean is he is still a criminal (leaning more toward organized crime, not serial killers) but doesn't act or dress like one (fancy cars, clothes, jewelery etc.) as not to get busted as you mentioned would happen with #2.

Could you elaborate on what constitutes a "bad boy". I mean, what is it about the "bad boy" that attracts you. Is it the image? Or is it the fact that a "bad boy" is dangerous? or both?
For example of these types of guys, which would you prefer.
1. A guy who looks, talks and acts like a bad boy, but isn't really dangerous.
2. A guy who looks talks and acts like a bad boy, and is dangerous (ie involved in some sort of criminal activities)
3. A guy who tries to look normal, but is in fact involved in criminal activities.
If this has been answered elsewhere and you don't want to answer it here, that is fine. I'll find it one day. But I thought I'd try my luck.
