We've been dating for 5 months, but only had sex for the last month, and she's a sex addict? How was she satisfying her addiction the first 4 months?
Active Ink Slinger
The virgin Mary. Just because I love the idea of using the "it's not mine, it's God's" line after. Though, if I have sex with her, then she's not really a virgin anymore, is she?

I'll admit, there seems to be more of these open questions on the ask the gals thread than the guys, but this seems to be a perfect example of how the current section can apply to homosexual, bisexual, and heterosexual people. Though for some reason, you chose to answer the question with a hetero-specific response. The original poster of this question did an excellent job of leaving gender out of the question. So why would they have to ask it in the straight guys section, and the gay guys section? And which section would you want the bi guys to answer in? Or do they need their own thread too? To me, creating a section for homosexual people is going to lead to more segregstion, which doesn't help tolerance.

But I still can't understand why you would specifically mentiion women iin your answer about rimming. Maybe that's something you only enjoy giving and receiving with women. But more likely to me, it looks like you assume a hetero bias even where the OP made certain to avoid one.

ya, that could be. Though aren't people who are abstaining for religious reasons usually fairly outspoken about it? Isn't that the whole Christian thing, that you don't cower in your beliefs, but make them outwardly who you are? Being gay in an aggressively hetero (and homophobic) environment is a different animal though. And, he's known to be very outwardly religious, so this would be the one part of his life that he's somewhat sheepish about his own spirituality?

In my theory, it would be that while he believes in abstinence until marriage, he understands the level of temptation that exists for an athlete in a university setting. Having the fake girlfriend would give him an added excuse, and cut down on the number of advances he receives compared to if he were single.

That being said, I think it's far more likely it's a cover for his sexuality than a defense against his "evil desires"

Agreed. There's no way a pro-athlete is going to proclaim someone their bonafide girlfriend of three years without ever having met her in person or even on cam, all the while passing up the endless pussy buffet that's he's probably invited to on a very regular basis.

I agree he had to be in on it. But your comment makes me wonder why he needed the excuse. I've read that he's religious, so maybe it's just an added protection against "sinning." "Sorry ladies, I have a girlfriend, besides, I don't believe in sex before marriage."

Or... it was a very simple way for him to avoid the questions about why he wasn't interested in any woman who wanted to sleep with him. I'm sure gay athletes have done more creative things to avoid coming out during their playing careers.

I don't show my face publicly on lush anymore for professional reasons, though for a certain group of people my shirt combined with my username would reveal my identity.

In the years I've been on this site, I've only been recognized twice: Once by the lushie I was picking up at the airport, and once by a lushie I went to visit. So, apparently I do look like my av.

She'd murder me and all my relatives if I posted any of her private pics here. So I think I'll pass.

I met the producer of this song at a conference today. Pretty cool. This was one of my favourite bands growing up, and this song in particular has a very great memory tied to it. I played it for a girl on my acoustic guitar, and was dragged to the bedroom before I could start the second verse.

My sister has a friend who served her road kill when she visited. He came across a deer that had just been struck by a vehicle. The police were on scene trying to figure out what to do with the carcass and agreed to let him take it if he wanted. He took it home, bled it, butchered it, and cooked it.

I admit the thought is a little weird for me, but I guess it's no different than killing it any other way. At least that way you wouldn't have the risk of biting into a bullet. But when it involves a restaurant, that seems a little too much unless they have an area designated for butchering in a sanitary manner.

With the benefit of hindsight, there are definitely a lot of mistakes I could correct. But if I went back and told my 19 year old self to stick out college and graduate, whole sections of my current life wouldn't exist. Yes, it would have been a lot easier, but the struggles molded me, and set me in the direction I am now. Those struggles also brought people and opportunities into my life that would not have come any other way. So I think if I had the opportunity, I'd pass.

Well, we did make the rules clear. Just friends that have sex... Idk maybe I'm reading too much into this :-/

Be honest. Especially if you made the rules clear. A guy can tell if the girl is trying to make the situation in to something more. And if he's not ready for whatever that something more is, you are going to lose him if you seem like you are trying to manipulate the situation. I've had a girl do that. She kept saying we were just friends, but kept saying and doing things that made it clear she wanted/needed more. So I had to cut her off completely. Nobody likes being mislead.

this has been going on since the 50's , anyone remember some of the Oakland Raider teams ? they never even got their hands slapped.... I can see a lawsuit coming on this one.

If you read Michael Grange's column here, http://www.sportsnet.ca/football/nfl/2012/03/21/grange_nfl_bounty_culture_change/ he suggests that this suspension is a reaction to the many current lawsuits the NFL is facing. Many former players are claiming that the NFL has hidden certain dangers such as head injuries from them, and so by acting harshly right now, the NFL gives itself a far better perception heading to court to say that it actually has the safety of players as a priority.

If Tim Tebow couldn't learn how to throw a 15 yard out pattern in 4 years at one of the better football programs in the nation, in an environment designed to teach developing talents the fundamentals, what reason is there to believe that he will ever learn? His work ethic was never in question, so it's not like he wasn't paying attention. For whatever reason, he just can't throw that. And the good teams know that. How many of his wins last year came against winning teams? How many of his wins actually came because of him? The wins last season had far more to do with the defense keeping the game close, and Matt Prater having nerves of steel to kick game tying or game winning field goal after game winning or game tying field goal. A win on a last second 60 yard field goal is not a win because of the QB. No other team even considers that succeeding in getting into field goal range.

Tim Tebow is an incredible athlete, and by all accounts a great person. But neither of those are reasons to build a team around him. He's perfectly suited to be the next Slash. Bring him in for goal line, short yardage, and line him up at other positions for the occasional trick play. But start him at QB against a good team next year, and you are going to see far more games like you saw against Buffalo and New England.

There's an article on espn.com about this. You take Peyton because even if he fails, he got you free of Tim Tebow without the fan base being mad. It was a logical gamble. And worst case scenario you can draft or sign an unproven quarterback next year without the drama of the Tebow faithful calling for him to start the moment the replacement struggles.

I've always found this one weird. You can serve your country, be given the responsibility of holding a gun and deciding when to use it on a potential threat to you, others, or the nation, but you somehow aren't mature enough to have a beer with your friends?

@Dude- well that settles THAT then LOL. Apple's not in breach of their own ethics rules. If you don't believe them, just ask them!

Reminds me of my business ethics class. From an academic standpoint, one of the best, if not the best, Code of Ethics was written by Enron. In the end, it turned in to a completely different lesson for those who study Business Ethics: What's on paper is useless if nobody follows it.

NO, NO, NO, NO! Cheating is physical contact, feelings, emotions and very real implications. Playing out fantasy scenes with virtual strangers, looking at porn, daydreaming erotic thoughts, etc. etc. is NOT the same thing. Must say that I'm disappointed with the prudish attitude displayed by so many lush members, the comments read like they're right out of the religious right's playbook to take us back to the Dark Ages.

So, you completely discount the idea that an emotional connection can be formed over the internet? I find it extremely humourous and small-minded that you immediately assume everyone who doesn't share your viewpoint is a prudish person with ties, or at least similarities, to the religious right. Your brash generalization and condemnation of anyone who doesn't share your view seems far more similar to the religious right's playbook than anything else I've seen on this thread.
