Interests funny how they've dwindled over the years......used to play hockey and competitive squash but after my achilles heel rupture on the court in '06 I had to quit all that to avoid jeopardizing my mobility for my gardening business. I BADLY miss the harsh cardio shock of that stuff, though, and for the past year I've been trying to compensate with a crazy 40-minute cardio/speed-weight-training regimen before I walk into every shower now. I want to run my business into my 100's, so I'm treating my body like a temple now - and hey - I'm only half way there! For 23 years (up until my "retirement" last summer) I drummed in crazy, insane deathgrind bands.
Favorite Books too many to rattle off but.....short stories compilation of John Cheever, "Delta of Venus" by Anais Nin, "Vile Bodies" by Eveyln Waugh, "Crime and Punishment" by Dostoevsky, "Like a Velvet Glove Cast in Iron" (a graphic novel by Daniel Clowes), among too much other stuff......
Favorite Movies again - where does one start - "Five Easy Pieces", "Being There", "Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia", the first "Emmanuelle" ('74), "Lust: Caution", and.......my alltime favourite - "Nuts in May".
Favorite Music stuff people would consider totally marginal/inaccessible like jazz, classical, face-ripping deathmetal, certain whacked-out hip-hoppers like Kool Kieth or Death Grips, ambient Eno/Residents stuff.
