Fuzzy, you push my buttons and send me down the rabbit hole looking for a forgotten memory. While the tribute montage was good, I had to go in search of the official video. Shining a light in the dark recesses of my mind, there was something special about that music video. When I found it and played it, the memory came flooding back. It was the girl!!!!
While doing my chores this morning I was thinking about Alison Krauss and Robert Plant. Different song "Gone, Gone, Gone" but still amazing how great minds think alike.

I lost a woman friend yesterday. She was only 28. A wicked smart ornithologist, stupid modest in her accomplishments, and forever Bob's Burgers. I had the honor of helping her, catching some photos of CA song birds she was researching for her PhD. She was so beautiful.

Sorry for your loss. The hummingbirds are swarming outside my window. I'm filling feeders several times a day. I have one pair of Baltimore Orioles that frequent the hummingbird feeders. Even without looking up, I can tell when they arrive because the feeder THUMPS against the glass (they don't hover to land - more like a controlled crash). I will think of your friend when I see them and mourn with you at the loss of your friend.

That's funny. I have been thinking about writing. A short story is rolling around in my mind generated by the Bear! I wasn't sure how to write a story that mentioned an author and series. I definitely would ask the "not a Famous, Big-Time Author" before I did.
I look forward to reading the final chapter, but sad it has to end.
