I chose watercolors, since apparently he's been getting into painting self-portraits lately. Almost creepy.
Recently I really enjoyed Little Bee by Chris Cleave -- sensitive, different, and surprising. A good read.
Barefoot everywhere possible... rubbah slippahs everywhere else.
My beeping and booping and obviously trying to communicate with me.
I think the advice on the time away is so important. I've found that when I've come back to something too early, I can almost feel it because it's still familiar. If I wait long enough, it's almost as if I'm reading it for the first time, and I notice all sorts of things that I wouldn't otherwise.
It's good to be the King! Awesome... thanks for posting.
I read Ferris' "Four Hour Work Week" book. Basically I found it breezy, shallow, and uninformed. Of course, he's made a lot more on his book than I have on my work... but I don't actually think he did it working four hours a week.
@Mazza, just got the "cococunt" one... that's funny.
@Wildcat, do they really mean that on that church sign, or is there a misspelling that I'm missing?
@Liz, that's an awesome bacon picture. I like it as training treats for my dog, who will do *anything* for it.
It used to be glamorous for me -- business class on Asian airlines, five star routes, exotic destinations, etc. Now that it's economy in the US, it's a lot more pedestrian. But I do enjoy the thrill of getting off the plane in a new place, and thinking about all the possibilities on offer.
I don't think we know yet in our relationship... maybe we're still working it out. Or maybe it goes back and forth as things change and develop.
@justaddkatie, that Poison video is some early 90s flashback.
Thank heavens for Pandora's "skip" button.
