Tesla is recalling nearly all the vehicles it's sold to date due to a faulty autopilot feature. This comes after a two-year investigation by the government into several crashes caused by the autopilot feature. Elon Musk isn't awesome. Just an idiot fueled by hubris and old money.

No shocks here. Tesla has been getting terrible reviews for quality from the get-go. I wouldn't buy a car from them, self-driving or not. There's now enough good EVs from experienced traditional car manufacturers that I see no reason to buy from a startup that values cool over safety and quality.

Yo dawg, I hear you like recalls. So I recalled your recall that was already recalled.

Up until the latest news dropped, Tesla has already had to recall more than half of its sold cars in the past. So now some of those that had been recalled and fixed are now again being recalled.

Elon Musk reinstated extreme right-wing fanatic, Alex Jones, back on X, so Jones can spread his right-wing conspiracy theories.

Y'all remember the lies Alex Jones spread about the Sandy Hook school shooting, that it never happened. Jones was sued and now has to pay Sandy Hook victims' families 55 million dollars.

So, Alex Jones must reflex Elon Musk's lack of integrity.

Well, Elon came from the tech world so maybe this is a recursive recall (aka an infinite loop).🤣

Try searching online Elon Musk + Amber Heard + Sex Parties.

Just entertaining. Nothing wrong with sex parties as long as all participants are willing, consenting, and of legal age.

I will not, we have different definitions of fun. I sort of gag just knowing he likely has a penis, let alone delving into what he does with it.

Musk has an impressive mind, in some ways. But what possessed him to spend 40 billion dollars on a glorified chat forum? He could have transformed millions of lives by distributing medicine or building infrastructure or funding scientific research with 44 billion dollars. Instead, he blew it on twitter.

I highly recommend the episode of "Behind the Bastards" on the weird, misguided manchild that is Elon Musk. It's a compendium of human descent into caricature, starting from a place that was already absurd to begin with.

I honestly think weekly about that dude who helped get the Thai boys soccer team out of that flooded cave (remember that?) - the dude that Musk, for no reason whatsoever, alluded went to Thailand for pedophilic reasons. I hope that dude is doing okay.

I was on the Musk train for quite awhile, I am a sucker for space travel. The X/Twitter fiasco showed the world who he really is, and I am no longer impressed.

Still rooting for SpaceX and the Artemis missions to succeed though.

I really hope SpaceX and the billionaire space race burns to the ground. It’s an environmental disaster, SpaceX particularly being guilty of raining debris down into the protected wet lands where critically endangered species live.

It’s a vanity project, doing things that government agencies across the world so far better and with more scientific purpose. The science behind SpaceX is decades behind the Chinese and Korean space programs. And Musk floating around in orbit for 2 minutes of zero gravity has the more environmental impact than tens of thousands of people will make in their entire lifetime.

Space exploration sounds great in theory, but not at the cost of the planet you live on. Current projections show absolute global disaster is decades ahead of planet colonization.

Elon Musk, free speech advocate who will fight for Alex Jone’s right to raise money by torturing the parents of slain children, enlists the Missouri AG to try and shut down media watchdog groups who track antisemitism on the app formerly know as twitter.

Proving once again that the limits to free speech in Musks eyes end at his profit margins.

Not trying to defend Musk, but if making profit is his main goal, then scaring off advertisers seems very counter productive

Well if he wants the advertisers he probably needs to stop posting anti-Semitic shit with an account that is prioritized to have a higher chance to pop in everyone’s feed.

Right?

I appreciate Elon using his mind and money to create and improve the world.

While minding his damn business and not trying to force politics and ideology on us (right Jeff Bezos?)

Thank you Elon, good to know there are still great men turning up through the generations.

You're thoughts everybody?

Yeah...Musk is one of the great men of history. I can imagine him sitting around using those spare neurons floating around inside his noggin, just dreaming up new solutions like this one -- for problems we simpletons didn't even know - existed. Where would we as a civilization be, without role models like this guy.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/civil-rights-groups-horrified-elon-193230017.html

Earlier this week, multi-hyphenate billionaire endorsed a tweet suggesting Black students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) have lower IQs and shouldn't become pilots.

"It will take an airplane crashing and killing hundreds of people for them to change this crazy policy of  DIE," he tweeted, intentionally mixing up the letters of the acronym for "diversity, equity, and inclusion."

Civil rights groups were understandably horrified at the billionaire's racist comments.

"The only thing anyone needs to hear from Musk about diversity in the workplace is an apology," Marc Morial, president and CEO of the National Urban League, told NBC News, calling his statements "abhorrent and pathetic."

The same GQP demanding we move on from January 6th, 2021 is still doing audits of the November 3rd, 2020 election.

I saw a cybertruck in person in Brea, CA and it looks even more stupid in person. There were people actually laughing at it. Imagine waiting years for one, spending 80k, and then people laugh at you.

Wouldn't you rather have a nice cup of tea?

Some people come by their lame-ness naturally, while others have to spend obscene amounts of money to acquire it. Life's unfair.

Don't believe everything that you read.
