I have restored several 17th and 18th century cottages. There is something very satisfying about building or renovating a house that isn't a shoebox.

I drive a classic pickup yet I’m far from savvy when it comes to anything under the hood. This year I replaced the belts and alternator and then a few months later, took out the starter to be rebuilt. I also replaced some of the electrical components. The front wheel hub assemblies were also replaced but those don’t count since I had a professional do that.

I can’t think of a good tagline so this will have to do. Suggest a better one for me?

On Lush I started to find my voice as an author again after a long dry spell.

IRL I did the scariest thing I have ever done and put everything in storage and joined my husband in his truck OTR. He drives and me and my puppy ride full time. It has been the best year. Getting rid of clutter is so liberating.


Being out on the road together has definitely been the most amazing and enjoyable experience of my life. Second to May 8,2018, us walking out on the beach together to get married. Everyday with you keeps getting better and better.

I came back to Lush after a 6 year break.

I rediscovered my passion for writing.

I submitted 36 poems and stories.

I made some new friends.

I created a fictional couple that people started talking about as if they were real people (LOVE THIS!).

I encouraged my hubby in his quest to find a job that won't take him away from me so damn often.

Like others, I joined Lush and found a community!

No, it wasn't the only thing that happened all year, but most everything else would be considered pretty normal . . . if I dare use that word. I guess I should say normal for me. Joining Lush was different. Instead of just being another Erotica site, here there was a feeling of community of people who not only enjoyed each other's work, but a place where we could hang out, communicate easily, and even give and get meaningful feedback. I thank Nicola and all who started this site, I thank them each time I log in! I also have to thank the editors and fellow writers and readers who made me feel welcome from the first day I stepped in. I love you all! I've been a member only three months and I feel more at home here than even my own home town.
