I'm primarily ENTJ, though I've been known to swing to INTJ. I wonder what that says about the fact that I'm a bisexual swinger who will switch top to bottom? Maybe I just can't make up my mind? Indecision may or may not...

interesting page I've always been fascinated by these. I'd have to dig mine up. The one I like best is called "Strength Finder". Focused on what are your top strengths and suggests one's passion lies in engaging those strengths on a regular basis.

Has anyone done Strength Finder?

I'm INFP-T, for now. I've taken the Myer-Briggs before, dozens of times. The only letter that stays the same is the "I", the rest varies depending on the mood I'm in. Doesn't matter where I take the test.

MEDIATOR PERSONALITY (INFP, -A/-T)

Mediator personalities are true idealists, always looking for the hint of good in even the worst of people and events, searching for ways to make things better. While they may be perceived as calm, reserved, or even shy, Mediators have an inner flame and passion that can truly shine. Comprising just 4% of the population, the risk of feeling misunderstood is unfortunately high for the Mediator personality type – but when they find like-minded people to spend their time with, the harmony they feel will be a fountain of joy and inspiration.

It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for – and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing. It doesn’t interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool – for love – for your dreams – for the adventure of being alive.

Oriah Mountain Dreamer
The Campaigner personality is a true free spirit. They are often the life of the party, but unlike types in the Explorer Role group, Campaigners are less interested in the sheer excitement and pleasure of the moment than they are in enjoying the social and emotional connections they make with others. Charming, independent, energetic and compassionate, the 7% of the population that they comprise can certainly be felt in any crowd.

Campaigner personality
You Can Change the World With Just an Idea
More than just sociable people-pleasers though, Campaigners, like all their Diplomat cousins, are shaped by their Intuitive (N) quality, allowing them to read between the lines with curiosity and energy. They tend to see life as a big, complex puzzle where everything is connected – but unlike Analyst personality types, who tend to see that puzzle as a series of systemic machinations, Campaigners see it through a prism of emotion, compassion and mysticism, and are always looking for a deeper meaning.

Campaigners are fiercely independent, and much more than stability and security, they crave creativity and freedom.
Many other types are likely to find these qualities irresistible, and if they’ve found a cause that sparks their imagination, Campaigners will bring an energy that oftentimes thrusts them into the spotlight, held up by their peers as a leader and a guru – but this isn’t always where independence-loving Campaigners want to be. Worse still if they find themselves beset by the administrative tasks and routine maintenance that can accompany a leadership position. Campaigners’ self-esteem is dependent on their ability to come up with original solutions, and they need to know that they have the freedom to be innovative – they can quickly lose patience or become dejected if they get trapped in a boring role.

Don’t Lose That ’Little Spark of Madness’
Luckily, Campaigners know how to relax, and they are perfectly capable of switching from a passionate, driven idealist in the workplace to that imaginative and enthusiastic free spirit on the dance floor, often with a suddenness that can surprise even their closest friends. Being in the mix also gives them a chance to connect emotionally with others, giving them cherished insight into what motivates their friends and colleagues. They believe that everyone should take the time to recognize and express their feelings, and their empathy and sociability make that a natural conversation topic.

The Campaigner personality type needs to be careful, however – if they rely too much on their intuition, assume or anticipate too much about a friend’s motivations, they can misread the signals and frustrate plans that a more straightforward approach would have made simple. This kind of social stress is the bugbear that keeps harmony-focused Diplomats awake at night. Campaigners are very emotional and sensitive, and when they step on someone’s toes, they both feel it.

Campaigners will spend a lot of time exploring social relationships, feelings and ideas before they find something that really rings true. But when they finally do find their place in the world, their imagination, empathy and courage are likely to produce incredible results.

Makes me sound like I'm emotionally unstable!

Meh, more or less. I’m definitely more analytical than these results imply but I’m also ever the schemer and daydreamer. This is appearantly the personality trait of poets so I’ll take that knowledge and smile, pleased.

I can’t think of a good tagline so this will have to do. Suggest a better one for me?

I’ve gotten various results. Usually ENFP-A, but I’ve also had ENTP and INTP show up. INTP only comes up when I take the test while drunk, tho. (-:

INTJ-T, the architect.

Yeah that sounds about right. Question everything and never stop learning are fundamental beliefs I hold.

What stuck out to me was at the conclusion, when it said

In reading through your results, you probably hit a tipping point. You went from trademark Architect skepticism to “Huh...” to “Wait, what?” You may even be a little uncomfortable because you are really not used to being understood, even by the people to whom you’re closest.

and that was pretty much my exact reaction to the whole thing.

With that being said, I find it kind of interesting how it goes on discussing how architect as personality doesn't work with the whole 'self-help' thing then saying "buy our book! Join our academy!"

I've come up with different results in the NF category when taking the test at different times, but INFJ seems to be the one that fits the best.

It isn't a truly scientific test. It's a bunch of educated inference. That doesn't mean it won't accurately describe your personality in some general sense, but there's a danger to taking the results too seriously. People are infinitely complex and you don't want to get locked in to defining yourself as a certain 'type' which determines things like relationships, career, etc. Then you run the risk of closing yourself of f to new experiences and perspectives. These are my two cents.

And yes, I have taken the test in past, yes the assessment of my persona was more or less spot on, and not I'm not revealing what type I am.

Advocates are likely to place more importance on working together over efficiency, encouraging hard work, and helping others when needed. While this is usually a strength, there is a risk that others will take advantage of Advocates’ desire to get things done. Coworkers may do this – on purpose or without realizing it – by shifting their tasks onto their more dedicated Advocate coworkers’ desks.
