Well as I live in UK, the country with the worst case/death ratio, that ignored the warnings in 2005 and 2018, and still not mandating masks in the open, guess what I think of the UK effort? I speak as a key worker, a Registered carer. And in spite of Covid, they are opening pubs, restaurants tomorrow. I think I will just grow a ponytail, its safer.
I don't know what Ganges is, but I know that Trump is crushing it when it comes to fake pandemic response.

I'm in the UK and our government's response has been disastrous. Only recently did our government actually request that people wear masks but it's not compulsory. Only around 1% of those I pass on the rare occasion I go outside are actually wearing a mask and the majority of those who have been forced to wear them within a shop don't even have it covering their nose. My husband actually witnessed a man remove his mask to cough within a shop last week. It's an absolute joke and the morons in charge have been almost comical in their approach but I'm not laughing because of the sheer amount of people who have lost their lives due to their idiocy.
Nope, never satisfied with it's response. Being dumb in everything! Could have done better and prevented all deaths if believed in scientists, and finding the root-cause of the issue.
Inept is the word that comes to mind
In the Land Down Under, our government authorities seem to have taken the correct steps.
When state borders have been closed, the quarantine has been enforced.
Unfortunately we've had some people that think they can flout the laws.
Those that were caught have been summarily dealt with, at their cost.
Covid-19 isn't just a mild case of influenza, it has serious health consequences.
So QUARANTINE IS QUARANTINE and it has to be enforced.
Some high profile business leaders want the restrictions lifted.
But then mass gatherings on beaches, have created further waves of infection and reversion
to stage 4 and stage 5 lock-down has taken place.
You just can't legislate against STUPID !
With some political leaders I may not agree with their politics but I admire their fortitude
when it comes to border closures and quarantine.

Frankly, I am not happy. As an essential worker, we're fighting to get the company to continue with the hazard pay that we had when this all began. It was taken away at the end of June which left a lot of us enraged because the extra money was seriously needed. The government could've done a whole lot better and responded in a more timely fashion, rather than poo-poo the warnings they received and just sat on it.
