I have both cats and dogs. We recently put our Rottweiler to sleep. She was eleven years old and made it longer than expected. Now we have a beautiful 3 year old husky Diesel and five cats. Smoky, Dixie, Molly, Chopper, and Scooter (moped)

Hanging in the background but around

For the past couple of years I've had two dogs and one cat, all rescued, plus a canary. Over the years I've had all sorts of combos (Once five cats and a dog, or three dogs and two cats, etc.) I've also had fish, guini (sp?) pigs, rabbits, geese, birds and a hen. The fish were the most trouble.
We have two cats. Princess and King Ralphie. The laziest cats on earth.
No pets at present (wife isn't crazy about furry things living in the house) but if I did, I'd have a kitty or two.
We do not have any children so we have had cats ever since we got married. At the present time, Hubbie and I have 4 cats that stay inside 100% of the time? All four of them are very affectionate. They were all feral and rescued as small kittens, three were around 6 weeks old when they found Hubbie, one was about 3 months. He also feeds a couple feral / stray cats that hang around our hanger at the airport where he goes at sometime during each day he is in town. He built them a heated cat house to get out of the cold or rainy weather.

Some of my employees and I feed one that lives around my office. She was probably a stray cat as she came to me the first day she showed up, and likes to be petted. We have a patio out back for the smokers and taking a break or lunch. She will jump in peoples lap As soon as they sit down in the patio. She is smart and knows who's lap she is welcome in. We keep a flea collar on her and take her to the vet once a year. Hubbie built a cat house for her too, and during the winter a light bulb keeps her warm.

How about all of the above?

Gizmo and Atticus.

Harley chilling and ruining my new leather chair..

Harley sunbathing on the balcony where I had to put up a wall of cardboard to prevent him from escaping and walking into the neighbor's apartment. Unfortunately the building manager threatened to fine me if I kept the cardboard up, because apparently it made the building look trashy.

They all get a long well though....

My snake, however... is not so social.

So here's more of Gizmo getting warmed up after his bath.

One dog (Lily, spayed Anatolian Shepherd x Great Pyrenees) and one cat (Niles, neutered DSH). Both "secondhand".

It looks like the cat is giving the dog the stink eye.

We have three cars. Two from the animal shelter, one from family. Minky, the the matriarch at 19 years old, is in fragile health but hanging in there. Jeff Jr, named in my honor by my daughter, is the only other male in the house, and so we have a special bond. Blackie, the youngest, jumps into bed to be petted every morning when the alarm goes off (Minky, however, gets first pets).

My daughter got a hamster named Skittles on Christmas. He's kinda cute.
Dog. Technically it's my sister's dog, but I live with her and it is basically mine ever since she had my nephew.
Through crossbreeding, I now have a cat/dog/gerbil/groundhog/horse/squirrel and it does tricks.
Cats (2), dog, snakes (3) and fish (inside and outside).
I have a German shepard girl named Harley and a Senegal parrot girl named Ivy.

She’s smarter than she looks.

Senegals are pretty hilarious all the time.

Is keeping birds inside still a thing? Last time I saw that seems ages ago.

I keep my bird in a shoe box in the closet. She loves it.
We have a greyhound named Bea, an ex-racing dog. She's not the smartest, but we love her. We also have a cat, Elizabeth Taylor. What a diva bitch she is.
I have two cats Bailey and Casper one dog named Parker at times I think it's a zoo here

not have any at this time
I have a Siamese cat, 4 chihuahuas, 2 hamsters, one ferret, and one cockatiel. I have been informed I should charge admission.
I have a Yorkshire terrier. Basically a cat but with the chronic clingyness.

Two feral cats adopted me, months apart. I have semi-domesticated them with plenty of food and apathy. It's nice they can fend for themselves when I jet away from home for days on end. One I named Butterscotch, she's fixed. I can't tell if Fester is fixed or not, he still tries to take my hand off if I reach to pet him. We all get along great.

It probably shits in the house all willy nilly too. Small dogs are the worst of both worlds. I used to think you were the smartest. Now I just don't know anymore.
