You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.

One of mine is the statement "you know" it drives me insane! Another is "like".
I have heard people use both of them 10 times in a single freaking sentence. Grow up people and learn some effing vocabulary!

I don't understand the constant repetition of pithy sayings that are posted on all the forums. I also hate all the computer abbreviations of sayings like oh my god being reduced or laugh out load etc. It's getting like George Orwell predicted in 1984 - the reduction of the language. If something's worth saying then say it if it's not and too cliche then don't reduce it or say it just STFU.

"It is what it is"...something about it just bugs me...what is is it exactly?
Quote by CuriousButterflyMY response to that is, well DUH. It is. That's a statement of fact. Anything else, other than a descriptive, ie, It is a blue vase, is meaningless. Pretty sure it would piss George Carlin off.

I hate that saying when people say 'such and such is the new something'
You know like 'pink is the new black' or whatever...
No it isn't, it's bollocks!! Grrr

So cliches are the new bollocks?
Could we interlock brain spaces in my work area?
Coach, if I could input into your mental mainframe for a moment...
Let's operate a zipped-lip scenario on this one.
George, can we pool our brainspaces in a center of excellence?
