I loved reading Calvin and Hobbes as a kid and still indulge on occasion. In addition, I love astronomy. We plan our beach trip every year to coincide with the peak of the Perseid meteor shower. Our beach is far from a lot of light pollution, and the combination of the surf and a ramped up shower of stars is probably my favorite thing outside the bedroom ;).
