ummm, i dont know if its actually a hobby, but I work with exotic animals, traveling mostly to rennaissance fairs and the occasional circus, birthday party, and wedding. I get to travel all over with this.
I used to train horses(Nationally competitive).
I also cook, actually I prefer to bake, but cooking is a close second.
I grow tomatos peppers, thyme, rosemary, basil, and parsley.
I read like crazy! loveove love my kindle, its got over 1000 books on it so far, and i got it for christmas!
watch nascar, Daytona this year was a blast!
and I enjoy sewing...

Hubby wants to get into that sooo much, but apparently he has to start a team as there's none in the area. We saw two teams on vacation in California and he's hooked! I used to play volleyball, and of course fast cars are still a favorite hobby (minus my daughter, naturally) but the hobby that will drive hubby insane before too long is my growing collection of vintage oil lamps. I've got about 50 now, all over the house, all working, and they're fun to buy, clean up, repaint, re-wick, and then there's a big plus in that two dozen of the tiny ones all over the bedroom, along with some scented candles, some wine, etc. all make for a nice seduction scene...
I also have started to collect a lot of books from my childhood that I'll want my little girl to read.

I tend to engage in hobbies in bunches, and then move on to new ones. I once coached and played baseball, played and taught trumpet lessons, and sang and wrote arrangements for a vocal jazz group. Obviously it was during 3 separate periods of my life.

I like to write in general, although I haven't been making enough time for it recently.
I also have an extensive (and probably quite valuable) collection of The Broons and Oor Wullie annuals, dating back to the fifties. I get the newest annual as a gift every Christmas to keep my collection going. It's becoming increasingly difficult to find any old ones I don't have.
