I'm not sure what would be classified as a hobby, though anything done for relaxation or leisure is considered technically a hobby.

I enjoy skydiving, reading(horror, fantasy, sci fi, mystery), writing(fantasy), guitar(the newest!), dungeons & dragons, studying martial arts, tactics and strategies, guns and discussion forums of all kinds smile

I cook and bake. It is very relaxing and one can be very creative for friends and family.

While in the kitchen, I tend to drink coffee/tea, or some lovely wine, always have some music on, and do a little bit of dancing while stirring, shaking, tasting ....

I enjoy candlelight dinners, long walks on the beach, romantic movies, and making love under the stars.

Sorry, wrong website. lol

I have a wide range of hobbies, I enjoy reading, but haven't read much lately. I play soccer and baseball, and am on the university baseball team, should they get approved to have one. I play guitar, and dabble in songwriting. I enjoy cooking, although I'm not sure how good I am yet. I'm a business student, and enjoy talking business, and business ideas with anyone. I also enjoy movies, but tend to watch whatever is on tv, rather than renting a dvd.

I'm a pilot but haven't flown in awhile because I've been busy finishing my basement (http://thebasementreno.blogspot.com/). Not exactly Architectural Digest but not bad considering I've never done something like this before. I'm quite pleased with the results so far.

I'm hoping my next project will be to build my own airplane.

I also like to cook and bake. I love to eat! I'm also trying to focus time on delving into my interest in CGI 3D graphics but it's tough to find blocks of time long enough to get creative.

You'd hate me even more if I took you to my buddy's restaurant and you saw the spread he'd send out.

I illustrate sweet, innocent, children's books. Although it's not exactly a hobby; I just happen to get paid for something I love. If I didn't get paid to do it however, I would still do it. I am thinking about publishing a series of Adult themed children's books. Not adult as in porn, but adult like: Charley's getting a divorce, or Billy hates his job, or Susie likes Sally's Mom. Sometimes the simplicity and format (and absolute trust) of a children's book can distill complex ideas into usable information. I would not make any money doing it, so it then would most definitely be a hobby.

Hmmm...I would consider Full Contact Body Shots to be a competitive sport...though some might do it as a hobby...

Jeez, these are tough questions...maybe you should post this one over in the "Think Tank"...

Full contact plus competitive sport....two great combinations!!!! Definitely better then just a hobby and worth investing my spare time being a participant!!! As far as the "Think Tank", I might have had a few too many shots to figure out how to move it over there!

My "hobby" (I guess you could call it that) is being a docent at the local art museum.

I take field trips (groups of school children, usually) around, show them the art, and ask them questions about when it is that they see, how they interpret art, what they thought the artist might have been thinking.

I usually follow it up with other questions. Why did the artist choose to emphasize some things and leave out others? What makes "good" art? Things like that. I can deliver long lectures on art, but I prefer the children be the ones doing the talking. I want to hear what they think.

We also get other tour groups ... everything from pre-schools to retirement homes. When I don't have a tour scheduled, I like to simply wander the halls and make myself available to answer any questions the casual visitors might have. I also volunteer in the gift shop.

I do keep my "sexual" side a secret at the museum. If they knew half of what I like to do, they'd probably fire me and bar me from being around children, which makes no sense as I have no sexual interest in kids whatsoever.
