Nope

Well, since your primary job seems to involve being smart, sexy, and a whippersnapper..... smile

In general, no, but it does have its 'moments' :)

I am retired from the Internal Revenue Service, where I did complex computations for cases involving multinational corporations, large estates and tax treaty cases. It was very challenging, so I enjoyed that. Plus, I got to know some of the brightest people in the IRS and in the private sector. Now, I spend each day doing whatever I want, which includes serving on the local parks and recreation board, and being active in progressive politics. Then there is my Lush interactions. If I hated any of it, I'd do something else.

I can't even call what I do a job! It's much more than that. I love to draw and paint and I get to do it pretty much everyday! I am very fortunate to actually get paid for it.

I love my job because it gave me so much financial security and peace of mind. It has its challenges, but I consider myself very lucky to be employed at one of the top financial institutions. This is not what I dreamt of as I always wanted to be a singer and choreographer. Nevertheless, my job is the best I can ask for.

I can't really say what I do is considered a job. My title switches so much, I may as well run the entire floor at the factory. I like the pay and hate the job.

No. Okay, it can get a little boring sometimes, but there is rarely any pressure, I get on well with those I work with and it pays decent. Just office work for a small company, nothing glamorous, but I like it.

If I'm going to bitch over a beer, it's probably about what I could have done better in the heat of the moment. Hindsight is wonderful, but I trust my instincts. My job is full of frustration, red tape and unhappy people. Just wish I could do more.

I hate my job with increasing passion every day. On the upside the money is good and I'm on track for a very early retirement or who knows, maybe a second career. One of these days they're gonna piss me off enough that I walk...the image of me strolling out the door with a huge grin keeps me going...

I am going through mixed feelings about work. It's a great company to work for, I have put together a fantastic team (I manage a department and have three staff), my co-workers are a great bunch, and we are in health care so there's a sense of making a real difference in people's lives. OTOH, I'm getting bit weary of what I actually do (IT). Computers were never my first love and I originally trained as a librarian. Increasingly, the idea of retiring and taking up writing full-time is appealing to me. But I'm (a) a bit young yet and (b) my wife is older and already on retirement track so I'll be the primary breadwinner in about 3 years (she actually makes more than me right now). So, I'm kind of resolved to soldier on a bit longer and am trying to focus on what I like about the job and employer.

No. I have certainly had jobs which I hated. At the moment, I am doing freelance software development and writing, so there's really very little to complain about, even if I am not making as much money as I wish I were.

Not anymore I don't, because I had to retire early due to health issues.... I gave them 39 years.

Yes I did. I worked in broadcast journalism as a producer. My station's owners showed a complete lack of care for their employees. Our staff was stretched thin to cut costs with low wages and poor benefits. Plus the constant bashing over social media from people on both sides of the political spectrum really put a downer on your day. There is so much more that I could gripe about but this is not the time and place.

I was not happy so when I was able to leave, I got out. I do appreciate my experience there as it showed me what I really desired in my career. I am now happily working on my masters in a field that has what I am looking for in my career.

I have the same "problem" as a writer but I am getting more used to it.
The inspiration hits me when it wants to, not when I want it to.

I have always loved the law, and working as an attorney. I still love that aspect of my career, though I have been struggling with a certain amount of contempt for many of my fellow attorneys. So many have abandonded principles in the name of winning at all costs. It's hard enough to be respected by the community already, and these sleaze bags are just making it worse for ethical attorneys to make a living.

I love my job.
I work for a manufacturing jeweler.
The retail can be a struggle sometimes but jewelry was my major in college.
