I adore Red Wine but i can honestly say that I have no favourite. I forever change the types I buy as I hate sticking with one grape or producer. My favourite wine producing country at the moment however is tied. it is between Sicily and Chile. They are both making extraordinary reds currently.
Do I appreciate wine? Today, definately not!
Well in honor of all the gorgeous Australian women I went "Aussie" the other night. A huge tasty Aussie Rib Eye roast, rare, paired with a 98' and 02' "Dead Arm" Shiraz. Hard to say which bottle was better. The nose is so lush and rich with lots of black currant and eucalyptus. Both amazing wines and I have to respect D'Arenberg for not raising the price even though they keep getting outstanding ratings from Parker. Hard to find a better wine for US$50 if you ask me.
yes... and today i had an inexpensive but nice cupcake cabernet sauvignon...
I appreciate wine and it appreciates me. We have a mutual agreement.
I don't. I have yet to find a bottle of wine that I'd rather drink than a coca-cola, or similar beverage. Maybe I just don't appreciate the flavors, but I've tried dozens, and have yet to find one I can enjoy.
When there is no Beer or Liquor around, I really appreciate wine!
I don't know shit about wine but every time I drink it with a lady friend I always seem to have an enjoyable night and I sure do appreciate it! Give me Grey Goose, though I am rather fond of Cristal.
Merlot, but hardly ever. Then again, I'm a vodka girl.
It's aiiight...
I like it with brandy, sugar and some cut up fruit in it. ;)
Sighs..
I miss wine and I'm certain that Spec's misses me.
I miss Cognac more...
I am not going to go out and say that I really know a ton of wine, but I do know that I like my wine white and dry.
A nice glass of Merlot is is always great
Red, occasionally. Champagne on NYE. Other than that, it is water and the table wine of the south, Sweet Iced Tea.
I better appreciate wine, I blog about it...
No. I dont consume alcohol.
I like drinking wine but I know nothing about it.
If I'm ever asked which wine I want I always say I will take whatever my friend's husband says... he's the one who knows. Maybe after some time I'll learn from him.
I have not acquired a taste for it but when described by others it sounds delicious
Red wine, for the most part. White is okay, but there are fewer grapes and methods of treating them that I enjoy. If you make white wine out of a grape traditionally used for red wine (like a cabernet or pinot noir), I usually enjoy it more than a run of the mill white. The drier the better, and no oak. Basically that means a virgin chardonnay where I'm at, but an oaked (standard) chardonnay is fucking vile.
Huh... I have more opinions about this than I thought.
A nice Malbec or Rioja is fine for me, especially with good food and company.
