I would love to be a virtuoso pianist. I can read music very well, was a trumpet player in high school and college. But never learned to play piano. Something about pounding on those keys is magical to me.

And I'd like to become as comfortable and proficient on bassoon as I am on clarinet. I don't care to be great, or even as good as I am on flute and tenor sax, and nothing like as good as I am on piccolo and bari sax, but I'd like to be adequate for theater "double" work.

I would like to be multilingual as well. I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (obviously), and I took 4 years of high school Latin. However, I am very good at catching on to new languages so I would like to learn - Spanish, German, Japanese, and French.
I also would like to be a better dancer. I was never any good with hand-eye coordination, and I don't believe it's too late to start now.

sprite, I can not swim either. See how in Louisiana, we are mostly water. That is very bad. I also want to learn bag pipes, and the tharimin. I think I spelled that wrong. But I would start the most annoying band ever.

my wife used to swim competatively in HS. my issue is that i'm afraid of the water. that said, it was something i really wanted to get over, so she began teaching me a few years ago - she has a lot of patience. i'm a crap swimmer, but i will go into the pool now and enjoy it. also, we went to hawaii last year and went snorkling. It was amazing. i panicked a bit at first, but got over it and really loved it. it's never too late to learn.
ps. it's spelled theremin. and they're totally cool. not sure how they'd go with bagpipes - be fun to torture your neighbors with, i imagine.
