I have a horse here in NYC.. the equestrian facilities r really good.. given we live in a very large city..
I would like to have a dog.. have always wanted one .. but cannot devote the time a dog would need.. they bond differently to horses..
but I do dog sit for neighbours on occasion and enjoy it very much..

I have had dogs all my life..I now have a female pug which we took in from someone who didn't want her. He complained she went in the house a lot. Since with us she hasn't done that..Kind of tells ya something doesn't it?

My pets have always been rescues. Currently one dog, a 14yo yorkie mix and two cats. My big tom cat has the sweetest disposition of any cat I've ever had and He brought home the other cat when she was a kitten from who knows where, a tiny long haired cat with extra toes (one extra on her back paws, two on her front paws)

A worthless piece of useless shoe leather to throw hay and grain at twice daily...my 22 yo horse who is sweet to be around. Gonna stay right here till she dies. Love that old hussy of a mare!!
