A friend told me about the site, and I posted one of my stories. The feedback was wonderful and encouraging. The skill of the writers has helped me improve. I enjoy chatting with the intelligent people here. Let's face it, if you don't like to read and use your imagination, you probably will be of very little interest to me.

I came to read, poems particularly, then found I really enjoyed posting in the forums. In real life no-one knows (apart from my fbuddy) about my preference for being a submissive, probably a lot on here don't get that either from some of my posts but I feel I can let that side out of me if I want to. I'm naturally quite a quiet girl but I have a deeply passionate inner me and Lush just feels comfortable for me. It took a lot for me to write anything and have the balls to submit it and I've been touched by the lovely things people have said and encouragement I've received. I can let feelings out on here that I can't let out anywhere else and no-one judges me for it and that, for me, is so important.

I have been a fan of this site for a few years, and always enjoyed reading the stories. I always found Lush a safe place to allow all of my inner demons come out and play for a few hours of fun reading. Around New Years I thought I should try writing. I am enjoying the art of writing a story, and seeing how the characters change over time. I enjoy doing chapter type stories. I am hoping that Lush besides being a playground for my many fantasies, it will be a place for me to improve my writing.

I use it as a way to express my thoughts. I like to write poetry and feel a high if I see my words printed. I also like to write stories, but at times I push to hard and fall into a rut-abyss. The more I write, the better I feel about my message. My words are not for everyone, but I do enjoy a discussion over works with different writers.

I concur. In addition, it allows me to share my ideas, good and bad, in stories, my attempts at poetry, and forum banter.
And to learn... how to write, how to read other writing, how to appreciate different people and their lifestyles. Pretty cool.
It's an escape to share and release what I can't do in my everyday life.

When I first found lush I was looking for erotic stories. Mysteria kept me coming back for more in the early days. Then something happened and I joined my first chat room almost a year later. I came to read some stories like most, then ventured in to the chat room, from there I began to meet great friends. Started writing... Was also an outlet to be who I really was/am something you can't do in the real world. It has became like most, my second, some times I think my first home. Lush has became part of me. I really can't imagine a day that I don't sign onto Lush.
