I WRITE here. Sometimes, I'm even read. I READ here too! (I also have established relationships of VARIOUS kinds here...) Personally, I feel a GENUINE sense of Community about the Site... (I GATHER that's not normally the deal with other sites...) I like talking to fellow members, being FUNNY in Forum and SOMETIMES talking about very serious things... Plus, as a GIRL LOVER it's a handy avenue to get in with Skirts who are really into sex!
What I DO find here is that the more you GIVE the more you GET. (I don't mean working here, I mean just being yourself...) I LOVE it. (It's become a REAL part of my life, both creatively and personally...)

I came to Lush to discover if I could 'really' write. Over time, I feel, that I have a become a 'not so bad scribbler'. I have no desire to be anything but an amateur writer. I haven't the time or desire to be anything else. I have talked to a few writers that understand me...talked to many that haven't a clue. It only takes one painting to be an artist. It takes one person to respond to my story for me to be a success. I have no agenda to be but who I am. There are Lushers and then there are friends.
So many different things. I did come for just the stories at first. I still love reading and now I write a few of my own. Unexpectedly it has become a place where I have made some very good friends. Some are quite special and close to my heart. I have also discovered more about myself and a side that I had not let be free before. It is a community to be as well. It has become a very "real" part of my life.
I came in to read the stories, which I still do daily.
Thing is I found so many interesting intelligent people in here that it became kind of a lounge to me.
It might seem that it's all about sex in here but it's far from the truth in my experience.

I've been in a sexless marriage for several years, while my wife works through her own issues. It was getting to a point where I felt frustrated and resentful about the lack of sex (even though she didn't ask for or enjoy this situation any more than I did). So writing my few short erotic stories became a safe avenue for me to explore and express my own sexuality without being unfaithful to her. Lush was a good place to publish them. The feedback I've gotten from votes and comments has been mostly validating, which has helped relieve some of the resentment and frustration I was feeling.
Don't believe everything that you read.
Lush: It's a lot of fun when I interact with the amazing people I've met here. However, it's also frustration when it comes to my writing and trying to get my work published here.

Started out as a place for me to find some new reading material, but have met a few really great people here that I truly enjoy chatting with. Plus it has pushed me to stop just deleting everything I write and share a little of it now and then.
I came here originally because a friend said it would be a great venue to present my stories. Then, sadly... I degenerated into an attention whore! lol
Was originally supposed to be somewhere I could publish some stories I am writing/want to write, but as most have said, meeting some folk here has been nice and I like the community. Chat sometimes, but the forums are more fun and interesting.
When I first joined, it was to simply read the stories. Until someone encouraged me to write here, after reading one of my stories I had written before joining the site. So, I did. Now I am here to write, but still to read. I also love to socialize with my friends (when we're on at the same time) and play in the forums once in a while.
Coming here reassures me that I am very normal.

I first came to Lush because a fellow author and friend suggested it would be a great platform to post my stories on. The friend who brought me has since left, but I stayed, gained friends, and feel I have been able to help others improve in their writing while becoming a better myself. I love the social networking aspect of this amazing site.
Reading and writing stories.
I came to Lush as a place to read. I made a few friends and chatted in the rooms. I tried my hand at writing and have been pleasantly surprised with myself. Since joining, I have made a few genuine friends, ones I consider life long besties.
A interesting place to learn about people and to publish my stuff
1. To read sexually arousing stories, but also moving poetry.
2. As a place to publish my own erotic fantasies.
3. As a place of inner reflection and intimate revelation through my poems.
4. For emotional release.
I came across Lush when looking for a substitute location to read erotic stories since my usual place had went down. I am here solely for the stories and occasionally chat with mature, respectful, like minded people. I may get into writting some of my own fantasies as well but only time will tell since I remain primarily on mobile access.
