I am certain ,, That our Lady _Lydia ,, would be the best person to answer this Question.

Whatever they, the members want it to be at that moment.
1. Here and posting all the time. Day in and day out.
2. Hogging all the threads or taking them over because they like to see themselves in type.
3. They think that makes them popular.

With that said, welcome to the forum Danee. Don't worry about it it's just some people's idea of a joke.

Ouch Chef!
1. True.
2. Hogging? Really? I just like to be apart of a discussion...
3. I've turned into the attention whore
Anyway, it sort of started as a joke because I was posting on the forum so much (I have very little of an actual life, so I come here for entertainment). Someone called me a forum whore, and the name stuck. It's pretty much whomever posts on a lot of topics.

But yeah, it's pretty much whatever you want it to be, like Chef said.

I showed my friend Lush and she called me that. I thought it was funny.
Primal mentioned it too at some point, I think.

I have to agree with Chef on the #2 point.

(Begin mild rant)
There's a difference between participating in many threads and/or topics of discussion and posting a response in every thread. Nobody can possibly be that interesting. There are times when coming into the forums I see the same name (without mentioning which names) down the entire list of forum topics that I get so turned off and don't bother to even read the threads that might have been engaging conversations. Alternatively, a quick way to kill any interest in a thread is to see the same individual(s) in every other post within a single thread. If you want to have a one-on-one conversation take it private or to the chat rooms sheeeeeeeesh!

After all, she DOES have a heart of gold.

Oh, yeah? Oh, yearh? Well, I'll have you know that last year, or maybe the year before, I drank a Dos Equis beer, or two, maybe more. Trust me, I was VERY interesting that night.

I believe the whole purpose of a forum is to provide a place for some people to post comments that are not necessarily life-changing, thought provoking world changing events...
I would never criticize Lydia for that...if the worse thing the girl ever does is spend way more time posting in the forums than some people would like...well, she may get nominated for sainthood...

I would rather see Lady_Lydia's witty amusing posts over pics of girlfriends butts or just smileys as replies any day. Don't you DARE back off from posting Lydia! I bet a lot of people enjoy reading your posts as much as I do. One or two people's opinions shouldn't put a damper on your time here.

Hey, Forum Whore's are a good thing. It's the kind of person who is intellectually gifted and is also friendly, and tearing at someone like that says a whole lot about you. That's all I have to say.

Forum whores are on the whole cool beans. Even if people seem to think otherwise. They will generally help if you ask and give answers whether they be serious or humorous. Not much goes on without being issue here as well. There is no reason to avoid them. Cool beans people make life a little more enjoyable, so no worries with them. and for the record, when life around isn't something people want to deal with, then getting away and allowing a different life, even for a few hours is going to help, and not just the person trying to get out.
Love me. Cuff me. Spank me. Fuck me.
