i've been reading around the forum
...whats a forum whore?

Whatever they, the members want it to be at that moment.
1. Here and posting all the time. Day in and day out.
2. Hogging all the threads or taking them over because they like to see themselves in type.
3. They think that makes them popular.
With that said, welcome to the forum Danee. Don't worry about it it's just some people's idea of a joke.

I hadn't heard that.

I have to agree with Chef on the #2 point.

There's a difference between participating in many threads and/or topics of discussion and posting a response in every thread. Nobody can possibly be that interesting. There are times when coming into the forums I see the same name (without mentioning which names) down the entire list of forum topics that I get so turned off and don't bother to even read the threads that might have been engaging conversations. Alternatively, a quick way to kill any interest in a thread is to see the same individual(s) in every other post within a single thread. If you want to have a one-on-one conversation take it private or to the chat rooms sheeeeeeeesh!
