Been there, done that. I think it's more what trinket says. I was bored and not especially aroused by my sex life at the time so use escorts to spice things up. Apparently. That's straight from an escort's ad. Keep in mind that is in my market. Rates vary from market to market. Also, the guy is also on the hook for her airfare, hotel/resort, and food. The $4K is just her take home. She has basically no expenses, just income tax.

I couldn't agree more with the above comment. To me, there is also the matter of self-respect involved. What is the difference between a woman prostituting herself, or a farmer selling a cow or pig at XX number of dollars per pound? When you think about it, it's the same thing. What is the difference between a woman selling (renting, really) her body and a model or an athlete or a construction worker or a truck driver doing essentially the same thing?
