There's a few heartbreak songs I really like, but this one always comes to mind...I think Janis Joplin had a hit with this a few years later, but the original is best...

That's awesome!

For some reason it put me in mind of this one. It was covered, when I was a kid, by a guy who was popular at the time and I really liked it, but never really listened to the lyrics until I heard this, the original version, years later -It's so damned sad, really really...

Wonderful song though, which epitomises heartbreak (not for me, but I empathise)

I spent too many times listening to this one
Skillet, your's to hold. That's quite a sad song for me.
Love don't live here anymore by Rose Royce. Unfortunately it sums me up at the moment.
I will always love you.

this song always makes me cry
It has been scientifically proven that any woman can be satisfied with only 3 1/2 inches --- and it doesn't matter if it is Visa or Mastercard
Korn Tearjerker (yeah, I know, not many think of Korn and heartbreak songs)
I was the kid next door's imaginary friend.
jar of hearts - christina perri
John Mayers - Dreaming with a broken heart

That song always gets to me.
If you can't fuck yourself ... who can you fuck?
It was asked "what sums it up for you" I think several of us can relate to this heartbreak song. "You're Breaking My Heart" by Harry Nilsson.

I was the kid next door's imaginary friend.
Or the other side of it....
"Cry Over Me" by Meatloaf

Another night sleepless
I don't want to feel this
Nothing can stop this pain
Trying to get to
A time I forget you
Still tangled in yesterday

It's so easy for you
To give nothing for me
Did you ever feel anything?

I want you to cry over me
Die over me
Even for a moment
Even for a moment

I want you to hurt over me
Feel what I feel
I want you to cry over, die over me
Baby, just for one time

I want your heart broken
Some sign of emotion
I want to see the tears tumble down
Show me I meant something
And that you feel nothing
But your world crashing to the ground

It's so easy for you
To forget about me
Did you ever feel anything?

I want you to cry over me
Die over me
Even for a moment
Even for a moment

I want you to hurt over me
Feel what I feel
I want you to cry over, die over me
Baby, just for one time

(Cry - cry - cry)

But did you feel something?
Did we mean nothing at all?

I want you to cry over me
Die over me
Even for a moment
Even for a moment

I want you to hurt over me
Feel what I feel
Oh why can't you just cry over, die over me
Baby, why can't you hurt like I do like I hurt over you
Can't you cry over, die over me
Baby, just for one time

I want you to cry over, die over me
Baby, want you to fall on your knees
Baby, crawl back to me
Want you to cry over, die over me
Baby, just one time...
I was the kid next door's imaginary friend.
This song is so fucked up... When you really think about the lyrics. My heart's not even broken and these lyrics make me sad.

We ignore refused consent
animals do not repent
courtesy to intervene
weathered down my selfish needs

I suffocate
and promise me you won’t resuscitate
and if I change my mind it’s far too late
I’m wasting my days as I’ve wasted my nights and I’ve wasted my youth
you’re waiting for something you’ve waited in vain because there’s nothing for you

Suffocation

Humility yet to be seen
models made of plasticene
morality disgrace us now
entertain and take a bow

I suffocate
and promise me you won’t resuscitate
and if I change my mind it’s far too late
I’m wasting my days as I’ve wasted my nights and i’ve wasted my youth
you’re waiting for something you’ve waited in vain because there’s nothing for you

Suffocation

Pretty much how I feel right now

I really hate vevo, so i'm just going to mention some others instead of trying to find vids for them:

Reba/Brooks & Dunn - If you See Him/Her
Garth Brooks - The Dance
Brooks & Dunn - She used to be Mine
Extreme - Don't Leave Me Alone
Diamond Rio - You're Gone

Travis Tritt - Anymore, Tell me I was Dreaming.
Evergreen by Roy Orbison.
Amy Winehouse ~ Tears dry on their own.
We could have never had it all, we had to hit a wall. So this is the inevitable withdrawal
Recently got the new Christina Aguilera and this song just seemed perfect.

'Our Last Summer' - many reasons.
Lisa Lisa & the Cult Jam sang it best with this 80's classic. I even saw her perform this live in concert in Vegas once and it was amazing. All Cried Out says it all for me.

Breakeven - The Script
