Not a fan of football (the one not called "soccer" in North America) per se but I'd suggest there should be more mention of the Canadian Football League (CFL) in here. Some good football and how can you not like a sport whose championship, the Grey Cup, has been played in everything from mud, to fog, to a raging blizzard?

Trivia: The Grey Cup was originally a rugby trophy donated by the 4th Earl Grey when he was Governor-General of Canada. He was the grandson of the 2nd Earl Grey, after whom Earl Grey tea, my favorite black tea, is named.
