I was a member here several years ago. I enjoyed the stories and the forums as a diversion for the everyday hum drum of life. hen as most often happens life reared it's head and I just drifted away. I have been a widower for several years now. I am seem to go in fits and starts as far as my social life goes. This last year hasn't been that conducive to meeting new people but things are looking up. I am hoping that I might find some online friends to talk to. Share some laughs and have some conversations with.

Interests
I like to play a little golf, get out of doors and do some fishing and putter around in the garden. Catch a ball game now and then have a beer or two with family and friends. I try to keep up somewhat with the world today and my sanity at the same time. Not an easy task in these times.

Favorite Books
The Mitch Rapp series by the late Vince Flynn. Lord of the Rings, Tinker, Tailor and that that trilogy. I am a big fan of biographies, autobiographies, and history.

Vince Flynn, Tom Clancy, John LeCarre, early Grisom and lately Patterson and Stanford

Favorite Movies
Really not into movies never have been

Favorite TV Shows
If I do watch Television it is usually The History Channel or some of the PBS documentaries or series, and an occasional ball game.

my taste in music is eclectic to say the least I have found most forms worthwhile at times. with the exception of heavy metal and rap
