What is your favorite music to have on in the background while you're making love or having sex? Depends on my mood, but I don't mind something like David Arkenstone or other new age artist. Nothing with words though.

I go w/ a mix of noise.
W/ Vladyslav we always listen to TERRORFAKT w/ blk/wht strobe lights.
W/ Ex THE EXPLOITED is spinning.
At times I'm feeling lovey dovey that I spin LULLABY by THE CURE
It all depends on sexual partner and how the session is going.
I've been spinning WARM WATER by BANKS a lot lately.
I've been all lovey dovey.

We rarely have music on while doing the deed, but if I have some on, I'd rather some smooth jazz or similar. Though one lady I had a fling with had a very interesting mix on while we were getting hot and heavy. Couldn't really put a finger on what it was, kind of alt-pop-rock, I guess.
I don't mind anything soft and ethereal in the background, but I really don't want anything that will detract me from the love I am giving and receving
During the act, I've found that classical guitar covers of popular songs (e.g Igor Presnyakov's cover of Get Lucky by Daft Punk) tend to sustain the mood rather nicely. That and any pop song with a slow, breathy feel to it (e.g. I Don't Wanna Live Forever by Zayn / Taylor Swift).
When it comes to foreplay, however, the breadth of music is much wider. From ballroom to lap, as long as one can dance to it, it's in the running.
I can’t think of a good tagline so this will have to do. Suggest a better one for me?
I like listening to music so while I've never done this, I would think I'd like to have frank Sinatra, some rock music or classical music featuring flute, piano or vilion instruments.
Goin’ old school: Carlos Santana’s Black Magic Woman followed by Moody Blue’s Nights in White Satin. Round two? Yeah - Iron Butterfly’s In A Gadda Da Vida.
A long track of some sound effect such as a heartbeat or breathing could work for however long sex lasts. The Beatles' Come Together would be appropriate for couples that can time their orgasms.
I find music a distraction and just prefer listening to a variety of moans and dirty talk. Maybe it's because I'm a guitar player and although I think some music is sexually aggressive like say Hoochie Koochie Man by Muddy Waters - it excites me but doesn't turn me on - it's more like defiance. Even if I watch a porn movie and it has a sound track I find myself analyzing the structure of the music rather than watching the action.

Deftones without a doubt. There's a couple of songs like digital bath and Change in the house of flies which featured in the sex scene on the film Queen of the damned. You've seen the butcher is another really sexy song. Sex bomb by Spinnerette is good too and nine inch nails closer.
I went for a long while with Skinny Puppy. The chaos and smashes in perfect balance. I look back and laugh at what these straight laced girls must have been thinking. But to be honest, that Kiss me Kiss me Kiss me album by the Cure takes it to another level. Ha. I just noticed that Skinny Puppy=Fucking and the Cure=Making love
Most times it's silence, just us, because if the 'wrong' song or music came on? I'd have to turn it off, skip the song or, do something it would aggravate me that much.
But if I could make a spotify or iTunes setlist?
Would have to include, Al Green: How Do you Mend A Broke Heart, Aaron Neville: Tell It Like It Is, Touch And Go: Straight To... Number One, Ed Sheeran: Thinking Out Loud, The Shape Of You. You get the idea.
My partner? Swears he doesn't even realise if music is on or not. Not sure if that says too much about me or not. Sorry this got so long, but I could have kept listing my perfect sexy songs.
There is a British Saxophone player callled Andy Sheppard, some of his long solo's are just perfect when you are getting started. I can't listen to early David Bowie without very fond memories of a wonderful relationship I had at college.
I have an "Only Have Eyes For You" with Andre Previn live in San Diego (was at performance) and have played it before.
