Coffee. A 14 oz thermos type mug with breakfast. It keeps my coffee hot for several hours. That will get me to lunch. After lunch I will drink another 10 to 12 oz. No more caffeine after 3 PM. Have never tried an energy drink, other than an occasional Mountain Dew. Some say it is an energy drink, some say it is not.

I always try to keep a routine where I get enough sleep so I don't need a pick me up for the workday. However, if I have a rough night's sleep, I'll step out for a cup of coffee.
