I've always broken my vibrators quickly. For 25$-50$ a pop it's getting rather expensive and ridiculous! I would think that the manufacture would put sex toys through extensive testing to make sure they Will withstand all the abuse the consumer will put their toys through. What's the best vibrator you've ever had, how long did it last?

They do... you just have to pay a little more for it.

I pretty much buy exclusively from the Lelo toy line... They range from $80-250 and come with a 10 year warranty and recharge like an iPod.

Nothing else I've tried even comes close to the quality of that line (both in durability and orgasms).

The best vibrator I've ever had is the Lelo Soraya, hands down. I put it through A LOT of abuse and have never had an issue with it at all.

I've broken many cheaper toys in the past though. You definitely get what you pay for when it comes to sex toys. Just think of it as an investment.

It's not the amount of masturbating that does it, it's sometimes the roughness of the way you're using it and the crap-quality of a cheap motor.

The one I broke was a cheap imitation of the "The Rabbit" that everyone raves about.

As I was saying... with toys you definitely get what you pay for.

I've broken two myself. I don't know if it's because they were cheap, or in the excitement I twisted them too hard for higher speed, disconnecting the wires from the batteries. Probably an easy fix, but I just buy push button ones now.

If you're looking for a hard-to-break inexpensive clit vibrator, I always recommend the Pocket Rocket. They are about $15 and work on one setting. Some versions come with different 'nub' covers too. I've had trouble with the battery caps breaking. I recommend edenfantasys.com, even if you don't buy from there the reviews are really great to tell you how long it will last and such. It seems either you go with cheap and plan to replace or pay more and make sure there's a warranty. I've found waterproof ones seem to last longer and the sales on edenfantasys are really good.

Pocket rockets and I dont get along at all! They are so temPermental, screw the cap on to tight and it won't work, and half the while using one and getting so close the bastard turns off! Funny enough, I was just going to post asking for recommendations for one!! I have a clit vibe that I believe is really only making a "humming" noise, but doesn't actually vibrate. Very frustrating to say the least!
