What do you like about the new Lush?

Im liking some of the Emojis..

I like the way the media is arranged. As I'm exceptionally photogenic, 🙊 I have lots of pictures and I like to ring the changes on an almost daily basis. It's also very easy to switch pictures between albums and manage invitations.

Not sure what's happened to the videos I posted on the old version but I imagine they are on the way.

New thing I've noticed that I love - on a computer / laptop, you can use 'word processing' conctrols for formatting text. For example. 'ctrl B' instead of scrolling back up to the top of the text box if you're quoting someone in forums - MASSIVE WIN!

I actually got a LUSH EMAIL that someone posted a picture comment on my profile! It didn't work, of course, because the image stuff is still completely whack, but nice that I got a notice.

I love everything about the site. 

It's so smooth and so beautiful. 

I love the pvt message in room;just another box in the same link not a separate window. How easy it is to switch off pics in need be and I know that many miss the whispers, but I like that's its not there(for now?) because nobody has posted accidental whispers cause we all know I'd answer them lol

And the emojis are cute. I don't use any emojis besides the heart and once I clicked on the cake emoji and had a little laugh cause CAKE by RIRI invaded my mind.

I love the easy interaction of this fabulous new version. I just got my first Swinger request. I'm beyond excited. Does anyone know where Massachusetts is? Is there a bus from Brighton?😊

I don't really do chat rooms, so the biggest improvement to me is the Forums. The oldest post thing is cool, as is the bolded threads for ones you've participated in. And things are certainly faster and less prone to crashing. I'm digging it.

The messaging facility is so much better. Hitherto, my icebreaker, conversation wise, was the writer Virginia Woolf, as I'm distantly related to the Woolf family through some Alsatian cousins. 

The other night I was messaged,out of the blue, by a young fellow who wanted to discuss 'my escaped cock'. Imagine my surprise, when it turned out not to be  D H Lawrence's last novella that was on his mind.

This site has really broadened my horizons.😊

The old Lush has had its day, and half of the day after. I don't understand all the negativity in the air. Frankly, I'm a complete clutz when it comes to computers, but I haven't had a single problem. Those members who expect the site to fill out their IRS return and draft an affidavit will just have to be patient.

I have to say that there are so many things that I like about Lush 2.0 - these are just a few.

1. It looks so much better, more modern and up-to-date (other than an issue brought up in the bug page about the stories not being great right now). But the layout and the cleanness is great. 

2. I really like this email over the old version

3. I love IM over those stupid black boxes.

4. I really like the story layout where everyone can see your comments, likes, looks, etc...under the title instead of over to the side. 

5. Overall, it is actually user intuitive (maybe not user friendly yet) but I think once all the kinks (hehe) are worked out then it will be very user-friendly. 

We are the "old" guard that were used to the "old" way, but if someone new joins in 6 months, they are going to find this easy and enjoyable!! Change happens fast, and patience wears out faster! We just have to be thankful there is still a site to play/write/read on and thankful there is such a wonderful team getting it set up for us.  

I love the deleted items folder in the messaging system. On the old site I managed to delete my entire inbox twice, and once deleted a message was gone forever. Now there's at least one more step I would have to take.

Okay, there is one thing I like. 

There are now Competition Badges for all the old ones too, right back to the first one. That's nice for us old timers. 

Mind you, you only get to see the first eight. 😒

And I only assume it goes right back, because there's no competitions link on the front page any more...

I have just added Bridgerton to my list of top tele on my easy to edit profile.

I gotta say, I’m really starting to vibe with the new site. Got a bit of fresh energy about it that was needed.

I love the Like button, only wished I could see a list of the things I liked too. 

I love that we don't see Friend's activities anymore ❤️ it always felt a little creepy before. 

I like the general way it's all organized and how clean it looks 😊

I really appreciate how things are being handled and addressed, even with all the complaints by so many. I see changes happening fast and concerns being addressed with tact. 

I like how we can jump to a specific page in a thread! (it'd be even more helpful if this could also be on the top, but pretty good as is)

Under the ancien régime I never used to visit the Forum. For one thing the print was too small and I'm much too vain to wear glasses. But now I'm posting every day and some of my posts are even still there the day after.👍😊

Can I say what a fine and useful piece of work the recently produced Unofficial Guide To Lush 2.0 is.

I hope it will prove of assistance to those wanting to get the most out of what we francophiles call un fait accompli .
