Of course there is some ego involved, and there should be! Congrats to one of my favorite people here, a good friend, a trusted beta reader, and the only person I've ever felt comfortable enough with to collaborate with (no small feat).

Plus, as corny as it sounds, she really is kind of an ambassador here (a bitchy, opinionated, cat-and-bunny obsessed ambassador, but still...), in that she points out new writers worthy of reading, provides feedback and pointers for those wanting guidance, and provides a true connection between the mods and the unwashed masses (e.g. the rest of us).

I'll quit gushing. Congrats, Kits.
