I had asked for people to send in nominations for this award a while back. Elizabeth's was a stand out from among them, so really, when the people speak, i listen. Being kind of lazy, i asked a friend to write up a FEW words and this is what he had to say far more perfectly than i could have...
Elizabeth Black joined Lush in August of 2013 and quickly made this a home. She spends her time here spreading kindness to her companions. She has never tried to collect friends. She wants to know that her affection will be accepted joyfully and happily by new people. From then on she sees it as her duty to express her caring with plenty of posts and messages to keep herself fully informed of her Lush compatriots' trials and joys. Anyone may see her friendships are a true expression of her open and welcoming nature.
Elizabeth is not a stranger to the forums or the Awesome Cyber Bar. But her main purpose for being here has been to taste and savor the fine writers we are lucky to have here on Lush. No straitlaced prig, she has strived to be a welcome commentator for our erotic authors. Her thoughtful insights show a deep appreciation for creativity and good writing. No one would ever doubt that she cares enough to give well thought out comments. As she says, "Such talent and effort should be acknowledged..."
Elizabeth authored three stories herself, two of which earned RRs. She collaborated on six more. That speaks to her selfless nature. More interested in helping others than letting her own light shine out and be displayed. Her avatars are actually a true expression of her outer and inner beauty.
Any friend of hers will gladly acknowledge that she is bursting with love that she is ready to share with anyone worthy of her understanding, compassion and benevolence. She expresses her deep feeling for the underdog by being active in a group that aids incarcerated inmates.
She is adored and willingly spreads love, which is a joyful way to live.
