Announcing the winners of our Flash Photography competition

With over 50 entries, this was always going to be a difficult one to whittle down. However, after all the votes were counted, I'm pleased to announce that Sprite has taken the top spot this time around, followed closely by WannabeWordsmith and then Jaymal.

Congrats to the top three and indeed to the whole top ten who are listed below. There were some absolutely excellent and highly entertaining entries in there.

Wow, two silvers in a row. Must be something in the water around here. I'm so happy to have made it, especially with such an 'out there' sci-fi romp.

Shush, you big furball, your entry was one of my favorites! That's why I love these comps... they push authors in directions they might not venture otherwise. Seriously, Bear, your entry was probably my fav of your comp entries to date. :)

Yes, congrats to sprite and WW, and to so many others who wrote spectacularly sexy, funny, surreal, something deeply affecting flash fiction in this comp. It's a pleasure and privilege to be here being creatively smutty with you all.

i am seriously flabbergasted. i was just hoping for a place in the top 10. thank you to everyone who read my little tale. it means a lot to me. and thanks to everyone involved in the judging. having done it before i KNOW it's a lot of work and a labor of love.
