Well unholy shit, bend me over the altar and fuck me, Satan!

Lol, this is why I loved your story, Joel

There were so many brilliant, imaginative entries in this competition. With the standard so high, I take my hat off to Nicola and the volunteer judges for finalising the results. Not an easy or quick task, so thank you so much
For my part, I’m delighted to be on the podium smile Huge thanks to everyone who took the time to read my story and help make this happen

Kudos to Tams and Jake - brilliant stories. And top marks to everyone who entered this competition and made it so much fun
Oyster Catcher
Congratulations to the top ten - all top quality, well-written stories! Well done to you!

I'd also like to offer congratulations and say well done to everyone who entered this one! I think it was a challenging theme to write, and there were obviously quite different translations of what debauchery was and how to interpret the competition theme. The variety and quality of entries demonstrated that admirably.

Of the few competitions I've entered, I think this would have been the hardest to call. I exchanged my own top ten with a friend, and it was interesting to see our different opinions. I totally understand that picking ten from such a strong field is incredibly difficult to do. I guess it is a shame in such a quality field that 'only' ten are short-listed for the judges consideration. But I realise that it would be a lot of reading if you had to judge 15 or 20 stories. Being a relative competition novice, I did find Nicola's explanation of how the judging works really helpful. In the interests of clarity, I wonder if it could be included on the competition page for contestants to read when they are looking at the comp theme and rules? Just a thought.

And having expressed that, I would very much like to thank Nicola and the judges for doing such a tough job. I've said it before, and I'll say it again - these competitions are quite a journey! I might have to take a break from entering. But I'm very aware that without Nicola Lush wouldn't exist, and without all the work of our moderators (and others) that I wouldn't be able to publish my stories on here and develop my writing, so a hearty thank you to all for your time and energy.

I'd also like to thank everyone that read and commented on my story. It's time consuming reading the work of others, but it is so rewarding when others leave a comment - I always really appreciate it. I also learn a lot from reading others' work.

Well done once again to the winners - Tamara, Jake and Mags. And a special shout out to Bonnie Bunny, Pete and Jack - it's really nice to see you in the top ten!

Think Of Me… - 1st place in the 'Dirty Talk' competition.

Down the Rabbit Hole - 3rd place in the 'Unleashed' competition.

The Intimate and Top Secret Files of Lady Agnes Jackhammer - 3rd place in the 'Punked' competition.

Samhain Shenanigans of the Satyr - 3rd place in the 'Halloweenie' competition.

High Lord of Darkness
A huge congratulations to the three podium winners, Tamara, Jake and Mags. Well deserved, I did comment on Tamara's entry when I read it and said it was a sure podium spot - I was right.

Congratulations to all the top 10 entries too and a huge congratulations to all that entered - it was full of fun-filled and debauched entries - that's for sure.

A big round of applause for the judges - it couldn't have been easy. I guess it never is.

I am truly honoured to be among one of the ten runners up. Thank you so very much.

They will curse their names that they were not there on this day. There was nary a flacid penis or dry vagina to be seen. Holy buckets, this was a bloodbath! There were a lot of excellent stories in this one. The standard of writing around here is definitely fierce.

Congratulations to all who won, placed and entered.

While the judges regroup, let the rest of us lick our wounds and prepare for the next challenge. Victory!
My latest story is a racy little piece about what happens when someone cute from work invites you over to watch Netflix and Chill.

CONGRATULATIONS to all you phenomenal writers who won, placed, showed, or made the top ten!

Tamara, I was SOOOO EXCIIIIITED!!! to see your name at the top with your stupendous story of debauchery!

I am so happy for you because I learned in our few interactions in you reviewing my story how seriously you
take writing and how much it means to you. Your prize and recognition are well-deserved, and I'm sure it must
feel really nice to be recognized by a group of very talented peers here at Lush, that your writing is top drawer.

Lush Stories rocks for the helpfulness and camaraderie of its members and I'm so glad I didn't jump over to
Literotica after XHAMSTER shuttered their story doors. I don't suffer trolls and snobs well.

@Wilful, ""There was nary a flacid penis or dry vagina to be seen. Holy buckets, this was a bloodbath!" was
hilarious, but make sure you add that other "c" in flaccid so there's no red underline underneath it. smile

Jesus, Mags. Save some podium space for the plebs and newbies already. This hit streak cannot continue.

Just kidding, it can. But you have to write pure smut every time to do so. SMUT. PEANUT BUTTER SMUT.

Well done to all the authors who entered; as always, there were so many wonderful stories both within and outside the top ten. Congratulations to the writers in the top ten, your stories were all fabulous, a tribute to our craft.

Special contrats to Tam Jake and Mags, great stories from three fabulous writers.

Thanks to Nicola and all those who organised and judged this competition. Loved being part of it.

Yours amongst others were very hard to omit!
God Empress of Lush
I’ve never been asked to help judge one of the Lush competitions, but don’t envy those who agree to shoulder this responsibility. They do a fine job.

As a fun exercise, however, I thought it might be interesting to look at whether the number of views a story gets bears any relation to its eventual position. So a couple of days ago, just before the results came out (to avoid any skewing from people flocking to read the winners), I counted up the number of views each comp entry had received (51 in total). The top ten most read stories (as of 11 January 2021) were as follows:

1. 5930 – The Pandemic Didn’t Stop Secret Sex Clubs by Lucky_lildragonfly
2. 5180 – Birthday Bukkake Bonanza by Naughtyannie (9th)
3. 4830 – Patty and the Bunk House Boys by cumbichance
4. 4829 – Lily’s First Experience by Road_Runner
5. 4770 – A Night on the Town by DarkSide (8th)
6. 4705 – When the Cat’s Away by Saucymh (3rd)
7. 4634 – Delicious Wishes by techgoddess
8. 3820 – Jailbait by Cat_getsthecream
9. 3622 – The Lush Ball by DaisyChained
10. 3484 – Tied Down by JamesMerton1960

Three of these made the judges’ Top 10 (score in brackets).

But what of the full winners list? The number of views they had got as are as follows, with the position out of 51 entries in brackets:

1. 1977 – Arabella and the Author by Tams_back_yay (35th)
2. 1865 – The Ghost of Fucks That Never Were by Jaymal (38th)
3. 4705 - When the Cat’s Away by Saucymh (6th)
4. 3035 - 24 hours from Tulse Hill by deviantsusie (15th)
5. 3413 - A Little Christmas Magic by fillelapine (11th)
6. 1325 - New Life by Piquet (44th)
7. 1504 - Satan Invades The Vatican by StarBelliedBoy (43rd)
8. 4770 - A Night On The Town by DarkSide (5th)
9. 5180 - Birthday Bukkake Bonanza by naughtyannie (2nd)
10. 2056 - Don't Deliver Me From Evil by vanessa26 (32nd)

So half of the Top 10 winners (including nos 1 and 2) were in the bottom 20 by number of times read. Three of the Top 10, of course, were in the Top 10 for reads too, making them popular with both readers and judges.

There are of course many reasons why some stories may get more hits than others, and clearly it is not always a measure of their quality. But it is at least an interesting exercise, I hope you’ll agree. And some of those who weren’t recognised by the judges can at least take satisfaction from the fact that Lush readers as a whole were attracted to their stories. Well done all of you!

22 February 2024 - How about a quick plug for one of my filthiest recent stories? It's all in the title - Naked Pool Party Swingers | Lush Stories Please read, comment and maybe give it a ❤️ - or even a⭐ if you really enjoy it! Thank you! Annie xxx

I am a little dazed about placing top 10. It was quite a surprise and a little overwhelming. Thank you to everyone who encouraged me to write, especially James and CuriousAnnie and Michelle. And congratulations to all the winners. I didn't find time to read everything, but there were so many good stories I don't know how you pick a winner. And thank you Lush for hosting the contest!

I read the first two paragraphs from the user that got the most views and must admit that it didn't flow well.
I almost dipped out but finished the story. Remember, that a lot of these stories aren't actually read but are only given 5's by mutual friends and many will want to read a story but then see that its not worth it.
I gave it a generous 2.

The top 3 and others that round out the top 10 have always written well.

I unfortunately didn't make time to read, comment and rate a lot of these stories but look forward to doing so.
I think I read 3 or 5--maybe, I don't recall.

Congratulations, Tamara, Jake and Mags! Absolutely brilliant work! Ergo, the sunglasses!

Congrats also to the rest of the finalists, and thank you to all those who entered!
I know I'm not one to ask for user comments to be deleted from a thread but can comments not celebrating/congratulationg the winners and runner-ups be removed?

I see it being messy and just unnecessary.

Then again, I did make my rating public but goodness me, that form of writing was just not good at all.

Of course, this and my other comment can be deleted too if you'd like.

hmmm...

I guess me and Jake are just better at bribing the judges!

Congratulations to the winners, top 10, and all who were (unlike me) brave enough to enter after they'd seen some of the early entries. I've read some (outstanding!), and plan to read more. Just an amazing group of stories from what I've seen so far. The level of competition in these comps has soared in the last couple years, a very good thing for the site and all of us. Turns out these were another great idea from Nicola, our brilliant host, so a big congratulations to her too!

(Now can I get that corner office with the window that I've been asking about? Please?)

The Linebacker
Congratulations Tamara! To win a comp with so many outstanding stories as this one is quite an accomplishment. A truly superior job!

And Jake and Mags, again, really awesome stories. Congrats on your runner-up finishes.

And congrats to those rounding out the Top 10. This comp had a lot more outstanding stories. It really rocked!

Congrats to all the winners, and top ten!!! I’m just glad I had tons of people reading and sometimes commenting on my story. I didn’t expect to win, it’s hard to with all the really amazing writers lush has!!

I was floored to get comments from so many amazing writers. Thank you to all that read my little story. I hope the next comp. is just as fun to write about.

Sorry, I am late to the party. I've been busy with my sister visiting.

Congratulations to the winners, Tamara, Jake, and Mags, and the rest of the top ten!! I read every comp story except any submitted on the last day, and there were some extraordinary stories. So many so, that some fabulous stories did not make the list. Pats on the back to everyone who entered this competition. I know it can be disappointing to write an amazing story and have it feel like it was overlooked. But there are other rewards to be reaped by entering a competition.

I did not place this time, but I received many lovely compliments and 80 plus votes which blew me away. I also have some new readers that are checking out my other stories. Thank you to everyone who read my story and to those who took the time to let me know you enjoyed it.
