At first you left encouraging comments and helped me gain confidence as a writer when I was innocent and fresh-faced. But over time you've become a really good friend. I'm not as old of a member as a lot of people posting here, but you're such a major part of lush and a beacon for all us weirdos. The site wouldn't be the same without you. You've done so much for the community here, shining a spotlight on newer writers and pushing for the strange and unusual (also sharing a love of tentacles. ).

You're such an authentic, sincere, witty, kind, amazing soul - not to mention a brilliant smut writer to look up to and learn from. This recognition is so beyond deserved. Congrats.

Rach, what can I say? I searched the internet, my files, everything for a very special gif or meme that would convey my thoughts, but there just ain't nuthin' like that, so I'll subject you to reading them instead.

You're a true friend, not just a "friend". You're there to offer advice or a kind word when needed or a reality check if that's required instead. You may be the most generous, giving, caring person I know, and not just to me, but to anyone you run across that needs a shoulder or a hug or a helping hand. You, my friend, are unique - in a good way, not like my weird brother.

I've admired your wit, your creativity, your energy and intelligence and your ability to empathize (and of course your cute ass, etc...) but I think maybe most of all I admire your passion. You and I don't always agree (and wouldn't that be boring if everyone did?) but you unfailingly argue your views with intelligence, compassion, and well thought-out and articulate positions and never, ever are the first to attack, call names, or belittle the views of others no matter how far apart you may be. Now, if they go there first they may awaken your inner Ninja, but then they've earned it! I'm a little on the fence about whether you're a soft and gentle lady with a core of steel or a granite warrior with a heart of gold, or maybe a little of each, but whichever, you wear it with grace and style.

I could go on (and usually do...) but I'll close with this: It is my pleasure and privilege to have met you and gotten to know you a little bit. I hope to get to know you even better in the years ahead and I'm proud and honored to call you my friend. Love ya, lady!

Your writing snagged me from the get-go. "Do You Want Ketchup With That?", "Mrs Vandermeer's Rules", "Summer", and many more…and I keep discovering new stories I never even knew existed, like "Purr" (co-authored with Verbal). And they all are exquisitely written, come from the heart…and most cum in places lower down as well!

When I first joined, I PM'd you a note you probably sniggered about before flushing. I said I admired you, that I was astonished by your writing ability, how damned erotic and good it was, and that I had no agenda in saying so. What I didn't realize was that I was joining the end of a VERY long line of People With a Crush on Rachel (Class of 2020).
