Real. I have started 3 different stories already, and had to stop bc they were going to go over word count. I still want to finish them but like I think me writing a story just without word limits averages around 3k words for me to feel like I told a complete story that's not rushed and still sexy etc.

Yeah. Brain empty right now for me heh. I basically have two weeks to try to write an edit it. Luckily 1000 words will hopefully make the editing process faster once I actually have a story.

When you say "set around Christmas" exactly how connected does it need to be? Like, it is just the holiday season with some decorations around or does it need to be Christmas-themed? (e.g. during a Christmas celebration, etc.)

Just set in the holiday period is fine, although, personally, the more fairy lights the better.
