Announcing our $200 First Prize "Quickie Sex" Story Competition

This is perhaps our toughest competition to date. Bordering on "flash fiction", stories must be 1500 words or less. In light of the length restriction, the stories need to be "quickies".

Competition Theme

Quickie sex stories are usually intense, urgent, and a little explosive. The plot is normally quite scant, and the characters are thrust into the action almost from the word go. Other than the word count restriction, this competition is open to interpretation.

I did notice that when I go to the "Competitions" category and go to click on the newest ones, it won't open, so I can't see the list of those who have entered thus far. Is this normal? I don't remember this issue in the past.

Me neither. I think the last one time I wrote a comp entry was the one you got third in?? I'm excited to finally have an idea, the desire, and the inclination to write. Now just to whittle out the time.

That was the valentines comp.... I've only entered one other, the spice it up comp, but I never placed in that one (I thought it was a better effort from me though, than the 3rd placed one)

I've got mine written. It was a fun challenge with that word count, I just done it with not a single word to spare. Let's hope there aren't any words that need adding when I proof read it!

the theme is quickie - as long as what you write is an interpretion of that, then yes, you can write anything.

I must say, I'm really enjoying reading all of the stories in this competition. Such a huge variety and from people I wouldn't normally see...

I'm really impressed by the sheer amount that people are managing to cram into such a small number of words.. It's really great!
