Feeling more than a little pissed off at the moment.

I've spent a lot of time and effort over the last week writing a sequel to my story "Pride and Prejudice and Fucking", which I hoped would give me a big boost in the Competition, but when I submitted it I was really upset to get this message:

"I'm sorry, we no longer accept fan fiction. Our policies are constantly being upgraded, and this has been implemented since the first chapter was accepted here. So I'm afraid this cannot be posted."

I don't remember seeing any announcement in the forums about this change of policy. Did I miss this? Or are all authors expected to read the story guidelines every time we think of an idea for a story, in case you decide to ban something else next?

I'm sorry if I shouldn't post this here, but I'm upset and cross at all the wasted effort.

LOL I doubt it. You will have to do it the manual way and the easiest way to do that is to go to home page, click on Active Visitors, then just roll your mouse over their name and go down to Add to Friends. I don't think you even have to go to their profile - thus not given them profile views LOL.
