💔Larry was incredibly kind and supportive and a truly talented writer. He will be truly missed. It's hard to lose a member of our writing community and not be aptly reminded that we are all mortal. Sending out vibes of love and support to friends and family. RIP Greenman/Survivor. ❤️
He was a good man, a good friend, and utterly devoted to both this site and the blue one. He really thoight writing was an important thing, and I agree. I'll miss him.
Tintinnabulation - first place (Free Spirit) Comet Q - second place (Quick and Risqué Sex) Amnesia - third place (Le Noir Erotique)
He approved and wrote the first comment on my first story in 2017. He even followed up with a PM, encouraging me to write more. A gifted writer, he seemed to enjoy reading just as much. He freely gave me much needed advise, always for the better, for which I am deeply grateful. I shall miss him.
I started reading some of his work only after talking to someone who knew about their death. Really great writer, and a huge archive of stories and poems is a nice legacy to leave.
Larry was ill for some time, so I suppose I'm glad he's finally at rest and out of pain, but he will be missed. He was a very long-time member and a huge contributor of time and talent to the site, which he loved. Sad news, to lose one of our rare Awesome Award-Winning members.
I think he'd be pleased that his work will live on here at Lush. RIP, Green_Man.
So very sad. Larry was one of the first to encourage my writing on Lush. I loved his comments on my stories, and reading and commenting on his. A fabulous writer and even more fabulous friend.
btw, his profile will be kept up on Lush, as will his stories - they will live on. Larry was very proud of his writings and i know he would appreciate them living on, even if he doesn't. on a personal note, Larry was a friend. kind, funny, supportive, and always thoughtful. he fought his battle with good humor and grace and great courage. i am blessed to have known him and will miss him terribly.
You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.
The Green Man was so special of a friend to me, Our many chats about everything. He continued to tell me to take care of myself and made me feel good. I loved our chats about his experiences and life, he was so knowledgeable. his talks about his wife and his special friend Victor who was always by his side. I miss him. I hope that he is watching over us and leading us in the right directions. Larry is one in a million and I am so thankful I was a friend of his among his many friends. I will always remember him and reread his stories. . . My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and Victor. . .
This is sad news. Greenman was a very popular author. As a moderator l always had good experiences with him. His writing and stories here meant a lot to him.
Señor L. No, not Lujuria though. Ha! We're not into that, together.
Larry has been a father-big brother-friend-literary advisor rolled in one. An angel in disguise! He was that beautiful light in the midst of darkness who knew about the stupid stuff I did during the darkest phases of my depression.
Be it literary or performing arts, he was a true artist who supported fellow artists. He and his wife make a good tandem plus his loyal pup, Victor.
He loved performing and writing. Asking him to choose one will be torture. He was always generous in sharing endless stories to tell. Surprisingly, he was never boring. In the previous months, while I was away from home, the constant communication with him was uplifting. His natural humor stretches a smile if not elicit a chuckle. He has that certain cool old-man vibe and he's proud of it. Just as he was always proud of his writing.
To share a brief story from him, for those who don't know or like me who weren't here yet back then, he started writing erotica in 2012. Back in 2013, he decided to keep writing erotica on Lush and posted in every category as a challenge to himself. He also did the same on StoriesSpace, Lush's sister site otherwise known as the blue site. When he completed that task, he informed the admins on both sites and they decided to have Gav create the Omnium. He did that after a few months and he received the first badge on both sites. He later got it on HistoriasLush, the Spanish language Lush site. So, he had it on three sites. Nicola later closed down the HistoriasLush site because it was not as popular. And for aural ones like me, he is happy to share his Seduction audios and proud of those mainly because they are all Famous stories with the last in the series given an RR by Buz.
He has thrown that big Omnium challenge to me. I don't know how and when but I will make it happen.
The last time we conversed was before his birthday when he was having diagnostic tests. He said he'll survive it again, get his balance back and do more ballet and plays. He told me he was so tired of the series of tests and will have an early night with Victor. Then, I was unreachable for a long while but when I was back, he was gone. He doesn't take more than a day to reply and he sees to it that he sends at least a short note to check on me, reminds me to keep enjoying life, tells me how their day has been, and more cool stuff.
I still check my e-mail hoping for a new message from him. He will be missed but his memories will remain.
Sharing this song from one of his favorite composers, Ennio. It speaks so much of now feels.
And another personal one. The Spanish and English versions somehow have different content but both are meaningful.
"Tu en mi corazón
no importa que dirán, no sufras más
dentro de mi estarás
estarás siempre, siempre"
"When destiny calls you You must be strong I may not be with you But you've got to hold on"
Only just spotted this thread. I'm very sorry to hear of his death. He joined the year after me, and quickly became an active and prolific member. When I did my analysis of the most popular stories in each Lush category, he had Top Three stories in two of them - Money and Steampunk. It's nice to think that his stories will live on here.
03 January 2025 - Why not start the year with a bit of smut by your favourite Lush author? Or if not, try my latest instead. The Jogger And The Flasher | Lush Stories Please read, comment and maybe give it a ❤️ - or even a⭐ if you really enjoy it! Thank you! Annie xxx

One of my first friends here. He was always eager to greet the newcomers into his place out the world here at Lush. Always kind and generous. I'll always remember him with a smile. Gracias, Lorenzo. Un enorme placer conocerte. Nos vemos!
