Have you tried them roasted in Olive Oil? i used to hate those green spitballs, but once I tried 'em roasted, I was won over! i still can't do Trees & Brains though. (That's Broccoli and Cauliflower, btw)

I've never tasted them roasted and I never will. I got brave a few months ago and tried one with each wrapped in a slice of bacon then steamed. Whoever it was told me to try them like that either had had their taste buds ruined forever by ghosts of Brussels sprouts past, was a liar or plainly wanted to know they had tricked me into eating one. I thought it might be quite tasty. I was wrong. I vowed again to avoid the little green balls of death forever.

Trees and brains I'm ok with in small, infrequent servings. Until now because you suggested they look like brains.
