May I suggest considering that a daughter (mine) has parents that are straight..I mean we have no inclination towards the same sex. Now my daughter is gay a gay can be..SHe even does the shuuder/gauge reflex which is quite funny and painful to watch when Dad fucks with her..Her significant other is the same way. They actually get kinda ill and green...I am glad my daughter and I have lengthy conversations of gay stuff...And she can take and give the razz back to Dad.

So with that I would suggest she wasn't born into it..And at the same time I cant ascertain that it was a choice..I cant explain, and my daughter cant either...It is one those those things in the universe that ...just is.

I prefer men over women too but it wasn't a choice. I grew up in a rough neighborhood where being gay could get you killed so I played the part of a straight guy but I was never into it and the girls I was with knew it. As soon as I got free of that hell hole I made my peace with what I was and I have never been happier. For me there was no choice I couldn't live my life trying to be something I am not.

hey i don't understand were in 2018, my son didn't choose to be gay, he was born gay. I noticed since the age of 3 that he was gay, I have two sons they were both raised the exact same way and my younger one is the most macho guy you could ever find. For the people who say it is a choice wake the f*** up and open your heart and eyes and see the world as it is and not the way you think it should be.

I wouldn’t think so since I can’t remember a moment when I chose to like vagine so I figure it goes both ways with most people, no pun intended... but I did read wellmademale post once that a gay itch develops during a dry spell. So not sure what that means. Maybe it’s a “tough” choice for some.

As a psychologist, this issue was settled in 1973. One you are born straight, bi or gay. Sex orientations are normal. In general, human sexuality is fluid. What orientation are you? What are natural comfortable with. As from, I am Bi and loving it.

I don't think it's a choice, but I'm not sure it's genetic either. Possibly it's congenital. I have three sisters. The oldest is gay. My twin is straight, and I'm bi-sexual. My kid sister is also bi-sexual. The fact that identical twins have different sexual orientations has puzzled everyone that knows us, but there it is!

I know more than a few both males and females that are or have claimed to be Gay.
Some are genuinely Gay and have had the gay trait all their lives.
Many have been Bi.
There are others - whilst few in number have practice a gay lifestyle for a period of time and reverted to being Bi or Straight again. These have more often than not been females.
So there is a choice for some.

I think it can be both. Many of these people in prison may go in straight. People then realize that having sex while incarcerated can definitely fill a need. I knew a guy when I was young. He was grossly overweight. Loved women, however he could not attract one. When he tragically passed, his obituary listed a "special" friend. I know what his choice was. But his need for love kind of changed his mind.
