You can’t truly call yourself peaceful unless you are capable of violence. If you’re not capable of violence, you’re not peaceful. You’re harmless.
Looks like we're in for a nasty spell of wether.

LJ tried CBD for neck pain and it did nothing that a regular salve didn't do. Ibuprophen was much more effective.
I do have a friend who swears by it though (and the one who suggested LJ try it).

Haven’t tried CBD yet but intend to soon. I take 1.2 g (600 mg in am and 600 mg in pm) of Gabapentin. I still have some back pain but it would be 10 times worse w/out it. I have arthritis in my feet/hips/hands/shoulders/knees, calcium growths pushing on my spinal cord in c3 through c6. Hairlines of discs (virtually bone-on-bone) in my lowest 3 vertebrae. Would not want to live if I didn’t have the Gabapentin.
I've tried CBD oil myself for pain, and I can say it's helped me a bit. It’s not like a miracle cure, but for mild aches and soreness, it seems to work. I’ve found it more relaxing and soothing, especially for stuff like back pain or joint discomfort. It doesn’t knock out the pain, but it does make it a bit more manageable. Some people also swear by thca vapes from https://www.exhalewell.com/thca-disposables/ for pain, as it’s thought to help without the high. Everyone's body reacts differently though, so you might need to try a few things before finding what works best for you. Just make sure you’re getting it from a good source, and always check with a doctor if you’re unsure.
I haven't used CBD oils or extracts specifically but I do use edibles and weed that contains CBD. In my experience there is some pain relief (joints, back, neck) although I'm not entirely sure its not just placebo effect. I'd agree with Ensorceled, ibuprofen seems more effective although personally I'd rather smoke or have an edible.

I don't use weed for pain, but rather to help me sleep. I always buy strains that have a decent CBD content. Like you I'm not sure it really works, but I know when I don't use it I have a much less restful night's sleep. It could be placebo. But it seems to work for me.
