Do you like when a woman applies make-up? Do you prefer she makes up every day? Are there times it is OK not to make up? What kind of make-up do you like best?
I look forward to hearing any thoughts you may have on the importance of make up.

Depends on the woman, but am always of the opinion that more natural is best. A little bit here and there, sure, but I'm not fond of heavily made up. My wife, for instance, might put a bit of lipstick and blush on when we go out but otherwise doesn't wear makeup at all. Obviously, some women benefit more from makeup than others, so I'm not hard against it, only of the opinion that less is more in a lot of cases.

I'd mostly second that. For the most part, perceive makeup as a great tool to cover up a few minor flaws/blemishes or to accentuate some of your features, and don't assume that guys find apparent makeup attractive in and of itself (because most don't). I do appreciate a bolder 'pornstarish' look every once in a while because it allows me to perceive a girl under a new exciting light and it fits nicely into some sexual scenarios, but even then discerning moderation is always advised. These are both perfectly fine for that more audacious look:
Natural beauty is much more important. I have known girls who would scare you when you seen then without make up, but with make up on they were pretty.
A small amount of glamor is ok. Natural for the most part with lipstick and lite color in other areas. Keep the eyes light. Too much and you look like a clown
good timing. just had this talk with my wife. She looks as good when she wakes up as she does after shes ready to leave for work. Doesnt use or need a lot. as stated above, have know a few gals that used a putty knife to put their make up on. less is more.......better
Definitely a fan of the less is more although I also realize that look is sometimes achieved with top quality make up. But do that smoky eyes thing and I'm yours. I have discovered that I seem to find women more attractive based on how I saw them the first time, with or without makeup. If I see her first without makeup I seem to always prefer her without makeup.
Small amounts are fine, but my ex wife had freckles I never knew about because of the foundation she wore. Not that she wasn't still pretty, but still a shock the first time I seen her with none on. Since her 9 out of 10 didn't wear any. I like the natural look.
I know this is for the guys, but like, for me, makeup is essnetial. I rely upon it, and have a fairly large collection. I feel far to self conscious and insecure without it, and I also enjoy the process of "painting" my face and "dolling up." Its fun! I wear makeup not for the guys, but for myself. Unfortunately not all us girls can look as lovely as you do fairly naturally Minako! Just my two cents.
I am going to answer your question in a non-helpful way. I like make up, yes. Sometimes a lot. But I have preferences. Some makeup does not look good. Overdone and plasticized is a no-no.
That being said, most of the time no make up is okay too.
A nice smile is all you need to wear. In fact a nice smile and no clothes works really great for me ;)
I agree with the less is more theme here, though some women really know what they're doing and have the face to do it on and can go pretty over the top and still look amazing.
Nina Hagen sure used to(!) be able to get away with heavy make-up:
My SO does not wear a lot of make-up, and what she does wear she applies expertly. I love the sight of her face freshly scrubbed, so her make-up isn't a big deal.
I once asked her to wear too much make-up, as part of roleplay, thinking it would be hot, but it didn't do that much for me. The sight of her face is the thing I cherish.
