I always (and I don't know why this was) thought I had to be with girls my own age or slightly younger until I met a girl some 15 years older and she was simply amazing. It made me realise that age as a number is of little consequence. I think age should not be a measure of the number of the number of years you have been on the planet but rather, a measure of how you behave, your maturity, your ability to communicate....

DEFINITELY older. I've chased older men since highschool, and ended up married to a man 11 years my senior. That being said, if there wasn't anything in common, it wouldn't have worked, just like any relationship... especially when I was younger, and the age gap mattered more.

I prefer older men..anywhere from a year to 15 years older then me. The reason is that I am a plus size woman and I have found that older men have realized that it isn't all about being thin to be pretty. I did ask a guy one time if he would be interested in a woman that he was very compatible with in all aspects except she wasn't thin and pretty if he would date her....he said he wouldn't and I felt sorry for him because he didn't realize what he was missing out on. Plus isze women have a lot to give...usually their hearts are as big as their bodies and older men have finally gotten wise to that. So any of you guys that are over 40....look me up!!!!

I personally like guys either my own age....or a little bit older. It's not necessarily the age that i like...it's what comes with it. I appreciate a man that is mature and knows what he wants. I'm really open about the age of whomever I might choose to date or go home with, but I'm decidedly NOT into ageplay. It's nothing against those who are, it's just not my thing. I dated a girl five years younger than me for a while, and when I was nineteen my girlfriend was thirty-one. I used to be quite fixated on the idea that I was excited by girls somewhat younger than I am. Then I met (in Yahoo actually) a lady in her 40's and well, she excited me in ways I couldn't believe. I rather believe that we have it all wrong. Age should not be measured in how many years we have been on this planet but rather by how we behave. Well for the other side of the coin. I have friends and dear friends. the will celebrate thier 50th Anniversary next year. She was 39 when they married and he was 26. Yes she was and is an unusual woman and even today most would not guess her age. From pictures I have seen of their early years, nobody thought they were the same age but not one would guess 13 years difference either.
He still idolizes her and from what I have seen every woman in the would like to be treated the way she is.

When I was younger, I was much more attracted to older boys/men...even married an older man (and divorced!). Now that I'm the one that's older, I tend to be more attracted to younger men. Having said that, it also depends on the man and his character. It takes a lot more than a cute smile and a great body to capture and hold my attention. Age is irrelevant with the right man.

When I was younger I was attracted to any woman that was worthy challenge the greater the challenge the more desirable a woman was either married or single didn't matter. Now I am older the same still applied except it is all done here on lush. In real life I have not strayed at all from my marriage. Here I don't consider it cheating as I give pleasure not take it.

I agree with ya here DD. To me age isn't just a difference and there should be a common sense gap that is like okie that's to much of a gap. I personally think anything over 10 years apart either way is pushing it. I don't care how old you are. It's just grosses me out at that point. The oldest I've done is 3 years difference.
